ポートヒルズにある4軒のオリジナル石造りのレストハウスの1つ、サイン・オブ・ザ・ベルバードで、短い散歩と写真撮影の機会に立ち寄ります。 サミットロードを15分ほど走ると、次の場所へ。
ゲビーズ・パスは、リッテルトン・ハーバーとバンクス半島およびアカロア・ハーバーを結んでいる。 高さ161 - mの峠の頂上に立ち寄ると、険しい農地とリッテルトン港をバックに素晴らしい眺めが楽しめます。 15分のドライブで次の場所へ。
美しい在来の茂みを探索し、巨大なマティ（ニュージーランドの白松）の木を眺める前にモーニングティーが提供されます。 10分間の簡単なループトラックは、脚を伸ばしたい人のためのオプションです。 20分ほどのドライブで次の目的地へ。
急峻な丘の中腹の農地と自生する藪の間に佇む小さな町並み。 ここで売られている食べ物、アート、アイスクリームはクライストチャーチの地元民がアカロアを訪れるお気に入りです。 ここでは、地元の芸術作品を鑑賞したり、アイスクリームを試食したり、歴史的な鉄道駅をチェックしたりと、自由な時間があります。 急な丘の上を30分ほど進むと、アカロア・ハーバーに入ります。
アカロアでは、魅惑的なモザイク彫刻庭園「巨人の家」を訪れることができます。 その後、こののどかな港町の美しさに浸りながら、ゆっくりとカフェランチを楽しんだり、お店を散策したりしましょう。

Gemma, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and has a great love for her area. We covered a large area of the mountains and enjoyed morning tea in a nature park, which was a nice surprise. We highly recommend Gemma as the guide for this area.

Our guide Gemma was wonderful. She gave us a great tour of the area and provided snacks and lunch. Scenery was beautiful even though the weather didn't fully cooperate.

The scenery was amazing. Morning tea and lunch was good with attention to detail. A little more information about the area would have been great as there were a few lulls in conversation

Jared planned a fantastic itinerary for our all day tour. His knowledge of the Akaroa history and environment was impressive. He prepared a Morning tea service and packed a picnic lunch that we enjoyed at the bay. Jared's attention to detail and flexibility made our day in Lyttelton quite memorable.
