I had a great time doing a solo tour with Eylem. She was so friendly and is deeply knowledgeable and passionate about Istanbul’s history, which was an added treat as we walked through the city to various shops! I loved meeting shop owners/artisans and learning about Turkish rugs + ceramics. I was only in town for a few days, but will not forget this tour and Elyem’s company. Highly recommend, especially for any women who are solo travelling and want a buddy for the day.

We went to the Grand Bazaar and also visited the Spice Bazaar. Everything was very nice. The products were amazing. The guides were very good and helpful as well. We were very satisfied and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I didn’t realize when I booked this tour that it was a private tour, but I’m so glad that it was! Elyem is w wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and positive about the world, the country, and this community. She is charming and was able to draw a lot out of me, an essentially reserved person. Not only did we take in all the important sites in Istanbul, but Elyem also offered to help me make a few other stops, like mailing postcards.
