Maybe 1 hour before our scheduled tour with Jessica and Annie, rain started coming down. We were excited for this tour so the weather worried us that it would be cancelled. Nope! We went to our meeting point 10 minutes early and there were Jessica and Annie waiting for us with ponchos! I’m so glad because although the food was great, Jessica and Annie made the wet experience memorable and so much fun! This was our first time on mopeds and both Jessica and Annie were excellent drivers, especially in the heavy rain. They were very personable and it was a lot of fun getting to know them. I highly recommend both Jessica and Annie and if they are your tour guides, consider yourself lucky!

A great intro ride to Ho Chi Minh with food, fun and friends!
It was my husband and my first time visiting Vietnam. First stop, Ho Chi Minh. We love getting acclimated with a good food tour. We booked the Saigon: Premium Award Food Tour with Female Rider and chose the 12 Tastings (2 Michelin dish) option, 6:00pm start.
Our guide Jessica, checked with us the day of to make sure we were prepared. There was rain in the forecast, so she prompted us to wear shoes that could take the water and dress accordingly. She also checked on any food allergies and preferences.
We went down to be ready to meet Jessica a few minutes early and she was already there waiting for us. It was raining pretty hard already. Annie our other driver pulled up soon after. They had rain ponchos and helmets ready for us. Made sure we knew how to get on the scooters and we were off.
We didn’t know how this would go in the rain and the new to us, crazy traffic. The rain actually added to the experience and both Jessica and Annie were skilled at driving in the rain and through traffic. The food at each stop was great! They drove us around through different areas of Ho Chi Minh. The first two stops were Michelin recommended and delicious. Then we stopped to grab a bahn mi sandwich on our way to another stop so we could eat it there, since there was no place to eat at the banh mi stand in the rain. We got to our next stop and enjoyed a “Vietnamese pizza” along with the banh mi and a banana sticky rice treat. We got to choose freshly squeeze (in front of us) sugar cane juice or a local beer. We chose one each of course, so we could share. All so good again. Then we got to spend time chatting and learning some Vietnamese words and how to cheers. It was so fun getting to learn all of this along with a history lesson on where we were at that stop, at the oldest apartment building in Ho Chi Minh. We got to meet some of the people that lived there as their store front is in front of their apartment. It was more than a food tour. It really felt special, how Jessica and Annie shared a little of their lives in Vietnam with us. We ended the night walking through the flower market and enjoying more food and drink. We had full tummies and hearts! Thank you for a wonderful tour of your food and culture, Jessica and Annie!!! Cám ơn má nhiều!

Fun and tasty tour of Ho Chi Minh
This was a really great experience for my friends and I.
The pickup was easy and on time. Riding on the back of the scooter was really fun and all our guides were really excellent and safe.
The food that we ate was very tasty, large portion sizes and varied. Plus it was interesting learning about Vietnamese culture and history from our guide.
Lavie was great! Very nice and easy to talk with.

Hands down the highlight of my trip to Saigon! Crisa made navigating the city’s crazy traffic feel effortless and safe, and she was an incredible guide from start to finish. Every single food stop hit the mark—come starving, because you won't want to leave a bite behind. Absolute must-do in HCMC!
