If you truly want to experience Madeira better than the locals themselves, in an incredible and safe adventure, Madeira Off Road Tours is hands down the best choice. From breathtaking landscapes to hidden gems you would never find on your own, the experience is unforgettable from start to finish. And I have to highlight the driver, Celso - for me, he is the one who transmits the greatest sense of safety while driving. Extremely responsible, highly professional, and super communicative, he makes the whole journey even more enjoyable and reassuring. Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to discover the real Madeira in the most exciting and secure way possible!
This was an excellent tour. Definitely not your normal cruise line excursion. We had a great time and really enjoyed all the sights. Our guide and driver Carlos was very good and maneuvered difficult roads with ease. He shared a lot of information and we learned a lot about the area and culture.
Miguel took us off-road in his Jeep through the hills and forests of Madeira and it was absolutely a wonderful experience. He had a great personality and knowledge of his island and you can tell he loved showing off his beautiful island to us. I Highly recommend this tour!
Really fun tour, off road part is great, taken to a lovely cafe/bar halls way though which was very authentic, would recommend
We had an amazing afternoon - going off the highway and up the mountain to see the beauty of the island from the top. Gardens, narrow roads and a forest where we had to work our way through the jungle a little bit. Appreciate every minute of it
Jaime exceeded all our expectations in showing us the real Madeira. The thrilling Jeep ride through the forest along dirt roads was the highlight of the tour. But we also greatly enjoyed Cabo Girao and the beautiful Nun’s Valley as well as stopping to taste poncha. Jaime was extremely knowledgeable and spoke in excellent English and had a great sense of humor. It was a wonderful half day and we would definitely recommend it to anyone wishing to experience the island, especially if time is limited.
