If visiting the Batu caves take plenty of mosquito repellent. The caves seemed overly commercialised whereas the waterfalls in contrast were amazing but you need to be careful as some people leave glass in the rock pools and sand.

We enjoyed our sightseeing. Honestly though, our driver was fantastic and made a huge difference! He helped us navigate getting into and out of all the places. He was patient and easy to engage. He also has a lot of good information and ideas about how to enjoy our remaining time in KL.

Interesting excursion! Ascent to the caves a bit arduous. Beautiful temple complex. The waterfalls are idyllically situated.

Our driver/guide was Luis. He sent very clear communications before our trip so we knew exactly where to meet him and how to recognise him. Very friendly and knowledgeable, explaining where we were going, history and andwering all our questions patiently. Would highly recommend.
