We are sorry that part of the basilica was not visible during your visit. Unfortunately, restoration work and temporary closures are managed directly by the church authorities, and we are not always notified in advance. As clearly stated in the tour description, some areas may be closed or undergoing restoration without prior notice, making it impossible for us to inform our guests beforehand. We are nevertheless pleased that you found the audio guide informative and easy to follow.
