Excellent experience with outstanding tour guide in Budapest
Our tour guide, Misha, was exceptionally well suited for us. Punctual, knowledgeable and passionate about the subject, he shared his knowledge and personal experience. We’d love to take other Budapest tours either Misha.

Informative and interesting tour!
We really enjoyed our walking tour of the Jewish District. Our guide was a local who grew up in the area. He was insightful and we learned a lot. I liked that he encouraged questions and really cared about making the most of our time.

Avoid this tour
This is a very superficial tour you can easily do on your own , let along find it 30% cheaper if you book it directly with the company .
If you are looking for a comprehensive historical background tour , this is NOT it.
It’s simply walking through the street and pointing buildings.
In fact , our guide not only lack background knowledge, he got some facts wrong .
He is sweet and kind but he should not take such responsibility before acquiring more information.
So sad to write this but tourist should know what they NOT getting for $300….!

1. You attempted to cancel the tour multiple times through various channels, followed by repeated demands for a full refund, after the free cancellation period had passed. As clearly outlined in Tripadvisor’s cancellation policy, free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the tour. This policy is stated both on Tripadvisor’s platform and in our tour description.
2. After Tripadvisor refused your refund request, you then decided to attend the tour. However, during the tour, you declined to visit several key sites listed in the itinerary, stating that you had already visited them before. It’s important to note that the full tour itinerary was available prior to booking, so you were fully aware of the planned stops and content.
3. The tour was conducted by one of our most experienced guides, who consistently receives excellent feedback for his deep knowledge and professionalism. We respectfully disagree with your claim that the tour was "superficial," as it contradicts the feedback from many satisfied clients.
We regret that your experience was not as expected, but the core issue appears to stem from your dissatisfaction with Tripadvisor's cancellation policy rather than the content or quality of the tour. In the future, we recommend reviewing the cancellation terms more closely to avoid any similar disappointments.

Very interesting historical tour, although the synagogues were closed. Guy pointed out some fascinating sites that we would have never seen on our own.
