If you are into kayaking this a great experience. Moke lake is surrounded by mountains and on the day that we were there was like glass. After a 30 or 40 minute drive to the lake we were met by McKenzie who assisted us to launch our kayaks and we spent the next 90 minutes on the lake snapping dozens of photos of the amazing scenery. On our return we were treated to hot drinks and muesli bars. A thoroughly enjoyable morning and well worth it.

We had a super lovely tour guide, Mackenzie, who picked us up at the well-indicated meeting point and took us over to Moke Lake. She taught us lots of interesting things about the area and tailored it to our interests, which was really excellent, relaxed hosting. Then when we arrived she gave us options for single or double Kayak, gave us the brief run down of the map, how the double kayak worked and away we went. It's a very gentle Kayak experience, really about taking in the scenery rather than "physical exercise" and a perfect way to start our time in Queenstown. Morning tea at the end was a lovely touch on a cool morning. Thanks Mackenzie and Paddle Queenstown. I will definitely be recommending it!

Makenzie was very friendly and informative. The equipment was good - life vest, waterproof jacket, dry bag, all clean and in good order. After the hustle and bustle of Queenstown, a beautiful and tranquil setting. Padelling was easy, kayaks were stable. A great experience and well worth the cost.

The lake was unbelievably peaceful, making kayaking effortless and so much fun! The views were absolutely stunning in every direction, and we were incredibly lucky to see so many ducks swimming all around us. My son was absolutely ecstatic and enjoyed every minute of it. The bonus at the end was the snacks — we especially loved the gingernuts bikkies (thanks to our guide Emily for the tip!). Such a magical and unforgettable experience! 🛶✨

My friends and I had an excelent time, Makenzie was so lovely and friendly - very knowledgeable too. Great value for money as it felt private and we spent a good amount of time on the lake. If visiting would recommend as totally worth it :)
