I am requesting a formal review and partial refund for booking [1818022691] on [Aug 30]. The experience delivered differed materially from the itinerary advertised and purchased. The listing stated that we would have two hours in [St Moritz], but this was reduced to only one hour. In addition, the listing stated that drop-off would be at the original pickup location, but during the tour we were told that we would instead be dropped off in a different area. Milano Central This change was especially concerning because my traveling companion has mobility limitations, which the guide clearly knew. When I raised the issue, the guide initially dismissed my concern and stated that the other passengers preferred the new drop-off location. The preferences of other passengers should not override the transportation arrangements included in our booking or the known accessibility needs of a guest. Only after I continued to object did the guide agree to make a second stop at the original pickup location. Although the issue was ultimately corrected, I should not have had to repeatedly advocate for the tour operator to honor a clearly advertised term—particularly where a mobility limitation was involved. The reduction of our scheduled time from two hours to one hour was not corrected, and we did not receive the experience we purchased. Had these changes been disclosed in advance, I would have had the opportunity to decide whether the revised tour was suitable. I am requesting a 50% refund due to the significant reduction in the itinerary, the attempted change to the promised drop-off location, and the manner in which the accessibility concern was handled. Please review this with the tour operator and advise how Viator intends to resolve the matter. Thank you.
