Michail was a great tour guide! Between telling us the history of Lucerne and answering the many questions we had, he was knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. Our group of 8 got to visit a dairy farm, meet some of the cows, and tried a few of the cheeses they make. The cost was very fair for the length of the tour and everything we experienced. There is a fair amount of walking on hilly paths, but mostly downhill. Also, we did have some rain so bring a raincoat or umbrella if needed. Highly recommend!!

Zoie was friendly and knowledgeable. Whether local knowledge about Lucerne, family farming, or cheese, she was able to answer our questions and teach us a little about the process to get cheese from pasture to table. Big plus were the views … 20 minutes out of town, up a cogwheel train, we were overlooking Lake Zurich and feeling like we were in WNC. Wonderful tour!

Michael was the best tour guide and was extremely knowledgeable about the area! It was so helpful to have someone local to show us the ropes and handle all the logistics while we got to pet cows and eat delicious cheese. Definitely book if you want to experience what it’s like outside the main city, you won’t regret it!

We came to Lucerne with very few plans and began researching upon arrival. We found this tour online and booked immediately. It exceeded our expectations. Joana Lisa was a fabulous host. Funny, kind and knowledgeable. The scenery was beautiful and food delicious. It has been the highlight of our trip! Highly recommend.

Zoie met us and immediately took charge of our welfare. She was very knowledgeable of not only Swiss history but of the workings and impact of the small Swiss farm. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at a working farm and felt like we were in the country, even though it wasn’t very far from Lucerne. We had a picnic of Swiss cheeses and fruit, which we took back with us and enjoyed the following day. Zoie made the day a real experience that will be a treasured Lucerne memory.
