Great experience, this is a must do in Jamaica. Once in a life time experience. Our driver was informative on the drive.

Our driver from Marvin Tours picked us up half an hour early and the drive there should be about 1 hour. Durations, we had some traffic jams and he raced after the traffic jam with the car, at 80 allowed he easily drove 100 and he passed several times very close. The car ride took place in the dark, daughter and I were very afraid and asked him several times not to speed and constantly overtake. Once it was very close - there are people and dogs on the road and he could not assess how close the oncoming traffic came to us. He then yelled at us that it was normal in Jamaica. He (77 years old) has had his driving licence for 50 years and knows what he is doing. Instead of apologizing. When we finally got there after 2 hours of riding hell, the boat trip started. The guys there are very helpful but the "glow" was not seen. After about 30 minutes then return with the same driver!!! I told him we'd only go if he stopped overtaking. Then he preached to us in a very loud speech organ for 1 hour about his country and among other things he drove home partly WITHOUT LIGHTS just because we asked why he has the high beam on? We cannot recommend the tour from Oracabessa. Price 2 people at 200€ for nothing.

The guide in charge and the photographer worked hard to make sure everyone was taken care of and had a good experience. The pics on line did not truly depict what the waters glow truly looked like so that was disappointing. What bothered me most was that someone on the boat was smoking pot.

We learned so much about the culture and waters of Jamaica on this tour! We’d recommend going when the water is warm and there is not a full moon to get the full effect of the glowing bay!

My family and I had an amazing time our driver Scottie was awesome. We were a family of 18 and the service was impeccable. We were picked up promptly at our designated pick up time, Scotty made sure we got the best tour possible. Luminous lagoon was such a sight to see a evening we will all remember. This tour was exactly as advertised. The bioluminescence you see while swimming in the lagoon is like no other. It’s very hard to capture on camera, but it was the experience of a lifetime. The water is warm with cold spots and the colors from the microorganisms is just insane to see in person. The tour is short, only about 30-35 min, but so so worth it! Highly highly recommend going. It’s one of only 4 places in the world where you can see and experience this phenomenon!

Unfortunately they had made a mistake a booked me for another day so I wasn’t able to enjoy this excursion, mistakes happen and they owned up to it and gave me a full refund so I appreciate it.

The luminous lagoon itself is not very luminous, but I did use Marvyn's Paradise Tours and the service we received from Marvyn and Joel our driver was exceptional! Marvyn is AMAZING! He was so amazing that I booked our airport transfer with them for the very next day and did not use the driver from our Hotel.

Was a great experience! The only reason (abs a major one) that I didn’t rate it a 5 was because there was no photographer on our boat. A major disappointment. Nothing memorialized as far as swimming in the lagoon.

Amazing experience, never thought I would swim in a lagoon at night. It was an amazing experience and fun for the family.
