Our Belize caving and Xunantunich tour was an unforgettable experience, thanks to our incredible guides, Cisco, Edward, and Leo. From start to finish, they were friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone felt safe, comfortable, and had an amazing time. The cave tour was both exciting and well-organized, and the guides struck the perfect balance between adventure and safety. They kept a close eye on the group, offered encouragement when needed, and made sure everyone could fully enjoy the experience. Our visit to Xunantunich was equally impressive. Cisco and Leo were extremely knowledgeable and brought the history of the site to life with fascinating stories and insights. Cave tubing at Nohoch Ch'een was an incredible experience, and our guide, Edgar, made it even better than expected. Since we had a small group and a private tour, he was able to pick us up from our Airbnb, which was convenient, and as he drove us through San Ignacio, we got to learn more about the area. During our cave tubing experience, learning about the history of the cave, along with Mayan beliefs and rituals associated with it, was truly fascinating. Edgar showed us how parts of the cave were interpreted and sometimes modified to depict things like animals or people. We also got to see ancient Mayan pottery and swim through tight, cavernous side tunnels of the cave. Toward the end, Edgar guided us down the river while we got to relax and take in the scenery and overall experience. The lunch served afterward was exceptional as well. Overall, Edgar was kind, knowledgeable, and funny, and made this such a fun day for my friends and me. I would highly recommend him and this tour, and hope I get to do it again someday! Had a really great time! The guide was fun and knowledgeable. To start, there was a river crossing followed by a 45 minute hike where we would stop and learn about different plants and wildlife. When you get to the drop point, you have the option to jump in or walk down to the water using steps. From there, it is a pleasant and peaceful float through multiple caves, seeing and learning about the different formations and how they were made. You have an opportunity to swim in the cave river and explore some of the smaller caverns with the guide after learning about the Mayan uses for the caves. You finish with a smooth, quiet float through the jungle where you can spot toucans and other native species. The guide was funny and knowledgeable, but also serious about the conservation of this natural landmark. This is an all day experience, with 2/3 of it being inside the cave system — either on the tube, swimming, or on foot. Tubes, life jackets, helmets, headlamps, and park admission are included, along with transportation and a delicious lunch afterwards. I'd recommend bringing water shoes and a dry set of clothes to leave in the van. Marvin and Vladimir were great!

Great tour! We were picked up at our hotel which was really convenient. Our guides, Edgar and Vladimir were very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the area as well as Mayan culture. They were enthusiastic and it was clear they enjoyed their jobs as guides. The caves were huge and we were able to get out at one point and walk around inside one of them. Lots of options for cliff jumping. The tour ended with a traditional Belizean meal which was delicious. My only complaint was that communication with the company was not easy. I had a couple questions and it took 10 days for a response. Texting and calling them directly, and trying to reach through TripAdvisor, were largely unsuccessful. The actual tour itself was really fun.

We had a full-day adventure with Angel. We started our day early at 7:45 and went to the Xunantunich Ruins. We walked around the ruins for 3 hours and heard the history of the site. Afterwards, we drove 1 hour to the cave tubing site at Nohoch Che'en, ate lunch, and changed. We then hiked a bit with our tubes until we reached the caves. We tubed, swam, and jumped in the water. The water was quite low, so the tubing was a float compared to any sort of faster rafting. It was amazing to be in a cave that the Mayans were in thousands of years ago. Angel was incredible and knowledgeable about both sites. He had positive energy, and we had so much fun with him! We had a great group with us, and it was definitely an experience we will remember! Thank you, Angel - it was an incredible day!

We had a great time. There is a 1 mile hike to get to the launch point through the jungle on a wide and cleared trail. You will also walk through crystal clear water a couple of times. I recommend Tiva styled water sandals which are also very helpful in the short cavern hike in the middle of the trip. Those rocks can be sharp and slippery. Our guides were very informative and entertaining. The lunch was very good seasoned chicken with rice, beans and plantains. Keep in mind there could be people in the group that may be zip-lining after the tubing. If you did not sign up for that you will be waiting until they are done, which was an hour or less. There are a few shops and drink vendors available to pass the time. The travel time was an hour and a half each way. The small bus we rode in was modern, pretty comfortable and clean, with air conditioning. If you want to bring anything on the river you don’t want getting wet they recommend leaving it in the van, but I took a dry bag to keep valuables in which you can strap around you (also great for snorkeling at the reef!). Bring a waterproof case for your phone. The kind that hangs around your neck might be safest. You won’t regret this one! Cheers!

My husband and I went on our cave tube tour yesterday and it was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide was George and he made us feel comfortable and safe. On our hike to the cave he pointed out different herbal plants and what medicinal purposes they were good for. When we entered the cave George explained the history of the cave and all of the different figures and shapes we saw in natural form from over the years that had changed in the cave. It was truly an amazing experience! Thank you George for your knowledge and your experience!

What an amazing excursion! The excursion as a whole was amazing, but having Leo as our guide really elevated the experience. Leo was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited as well as the local culture. He went above and beyond and really took his time explaining and allowing us to explore all the different sites. I can’t recommend this excursion enough!

We truly could not have asked for better guides or a better experience. Adrian made the booking process seamless, followed up via WhatsApp the night before, and personally met us at the boat exactly as promised. On the way to the caves, he shared fascinating insights about the local area that added so much context to the adventure. We then met George, our cave guide, who was absolutely fantastic—extremely knowledgeable, professional, and clearly very experienced. He made us feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for every step of the way. This was hands down one of the top travel experiences we’ve had. Huge thanks to George and Adrian for creating such a memorable and special day. We cannot recommend them highly enough!
