ヴェルサイユ宮殿半日ガイドツアー（入場券付き）

I was a bit skeptical after reading some reviews, but this tour went perfectly! Our guide Barbra was lovely and attentive - she had so many interesting stories. This was surely the highlight of our week in Paris! Our guided tour ended around 11:15 I think. I really appreciate how we were provided with tickets to both the palace and the gardens - I recommend paying the 42€ to rent a golf cart as the gardens are almost too massive to explore by foot. My biggest concern was arriving to Versailles on time which is not the guide’s problem. I’d recommend leaving 1.5-2 hours early if you take the metro from Paris. It gives you extra time in case you get a little lost (like we did) and need to stop at the washroom (which I recommend doing before as the tour is very go go go).

Earlier is better because of crowds. Other than that, our guide Maura was excellent at explaining things.

Florence was a wonderful guide that had very interesting (and funny!) stories, providing insight into the history of the Palace of Versailles!

Florence was very insightful, and she did a really great job of explaining a lot of the paintings and tapestries that were inside. We would not have gotten these details about the landscape or the history if weren’t for her.

I arrived at the indicated time and the location indicated inside the castle, I waited in the whole line and tried to contact the guide and the call wouldn't go through. Finally, when I managed to communicate via WhatsApp, he indicated that they had already started and that he could not share the tickets with me because they were group tickets. They didn't even give me my individual ticket. Unlike other Viator tours, they did not contact me at any time to validate if I was at the location and I was left waiting with my mother. Very bad service and poor attention.

The Viator App continued to say what we were originally told re the meeting place and time, that we should look for a representative from "Extime Travel". Meeting time was 10.45am. At 7.06am I messaged provider checking meeting details. I did not get a response until 3.34pm. This response said to look for a representative from "Paris City Vision". I called the Viator support number at 10.41am (4 minutes BEFORE the meeting time) and was advised to look for someone in a red jacket. This person had already left to start the tour. The operator I spoke to on the phone contacted them and they sent someone back to the meeting point to collect us. When the local operator met us, there was no apology for not waiting until the meeting time. They also mentioned that there were some "no show persons". My guess is that they too were given incorrect information regarding the meeting name. We almost missed our tour due to poor service on behalf of the local provider. Tour leader was Alexandra. The tour itself was good.

Our tour was for 915. We stood around forever, waiting for our guide to get our tickets. Wasting all of our time. I think we finally got started at maybe 1015? Our tour guide only stayed with us for an hour. It was listed as a 4 hour half day tour. He handed us our separate garden tickets and said ok your is over. Total waste. And quite honestly, Versaille was SO overly crowded, it was miserable. Could not even stop to enjoy anything. This tour is the worst tour I've ever been on, and I have done a lot. Don't waste your $$.

Nice guide but not very informative. She would start to tell a story and finish by saying “well you all know those details.” Being from the US, we did not know the intimate details. Multiple people in our party were also from other countries and likely did not know the details either. We had heard such awesome things about Versailles and were very excited for our tour. It was certainly a let down. Our Tour was described on Trip Advisor as a half-day guided tour. The guided part only lasted one hour and five minutes. This tour was much shorter than described & was much less informative than expected.

Our guide was 30+ minutes late to start the tour. We entered the Palace of Versailles at 11:30 and our guide, Bertrand, left us at 12:50. In total 1 hour 20min touring the palace. Definitely not half a day! He was very informative and interesting, however the tour was extremely rushed. We were very disappointing.

A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. 1) The meeting place address needs to clarified. It is shown as Place Du Armas 78000. Giving this address to Ann Uber driver will result in being dropped off at the entrance by the Petit Trianon. This is over a mile walk to the statue of Louis XIV and requires walking through the garden. A better address's would be today the main entrance on Ave Roosevelt. This would have been a better direction for Uber and Taxi drivers. 2) realizing we may be late I called the contact numbers given and there was no response to my TXT or several phone calls. I finally was able to contact by phone someone (Juan? ) at 11:06. The tour was scheduled to start at 11:15. He told us the tour had already left and there was nothing he could do. This tour was to be a highlight of our vacation and disappointed does not express how we feel.
