The walk was a great introduction to Venice .. we were only there for a day so our guide ( I think Valva) was very knowledgeable and gave us a great understanding of the history and current day activities of Venice . Well worth it , great value for money .. highly recommend
Nice walk of the city with an overview of the history. Our guide was local and showed us some interesting areas out of the beaten path.

Wonderful tour filled with beautiful architecture and marvelous paintings! Our tour guide, Zoe, was knowledgeable, friendly, and proceeded through our itinerary in a purposeful manner. She provided local knowledge and interesting stories in addition to historical background. Only concern was the feedback from the earpiece we were provided with to hear the narrative; it was constantly crackling and even though Zoe attempted to make adjustments, it was very difficult to hear and most people complained that it hurt their ears making it difficult to enjoy the tour to it fullest potential. That certainly needs to be addressed!!
Our guide Alic (sp?) was great. She is from the area and lives in Venice and is very knowledgeable of the city. She covered everything we wanted to know about Venice and more. We searched around for a walking tour and we thought this was well worth it. 2 hours is the right length. The only downside of this tour was the radio that would cut out frequently when we were walking. Fortunately, the only conversation we would miss were questions asked by other tourists closer to our guide. Alic says she doesn't usually give information while walking.

Our tour guide was very informative, but unfortunately, we could not hear her very well. The earphone devices they use don’t stay close to your ear well and she spoke very softly. We missed a lot of what she was saying.

The audio device to make hearing more accessible while walking around crowded areas worked very well and we didn’t even know it was an option from reading the original description. There is plenty of walking and you have plenty of time and opportunities to ask questions.
Concise, educational and entertaining walk through main Venice Sestiere. The wonderful Venetian lady Alice presented the heart of the city with some hidden gems.
