Our guide- Manuel, was incredible!!! He was so knowledgeable and personable. He really knew it all. We would recommend this tour to everyone. My husband is a history buff and he was ecstatic the whole time. Book the private tour!
Don’t book an underground Vatican tour through Viator. They outsource to third party tour companies, and in our case, it was Tours of Rome. I set an alarm to wake up and book this exclusive tour 30 days before our tour date, when the limited tickets are released. I was so excited when I secured them through Viator so you could imagine my disappointment when weeks after purchasing the tickets, I received an email saying they couldn't accommodate this specific tour and instead offered a basic colosseum tour. If they told me sooner, I could have tried to secure tickets elsewhere. Tours of Rome said they would give us a 35% discount for the normal tour, but it wasn’t a discount. It was simply how much the normal tour costs and they were extremely uncommunicative. Bottom line, only book the underground experience directly through the colosseum site.
Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment caused by the cancellation of the Underground experience, especially after you had planned ahead to secure these limited tickets. We understand your frustration and regret that the alternative offered did not meet your expectations. Your comments regarding communication and the handling of the booking will be reviewed carefully with our team. Kind regards, The Tours of Rome Team
This was the 2nd underground tour I reserved that was canceled. I was offered a regular tour & I would be refunded the difference. I never received my refund from Buonjorno tours
Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for your feedback. We are sincerely sorry to hear that your Underground tour was canceled and that you have not yet received the refund you were expecting. This is certainly not the experience we aim to provide. Please contact us at info@buonjornotours.com with your booking details so we can investigate your case and ensure the matter is resolved as quickly as possible. Kind regards,
We had the most amazing tour with Sabrina!! She was very knowledgeable and made the tour so very interesting. She offered to take pictures of our family so we could all be in the photo together. It was our son's birthday and this tour made it his best ever birthday! We highly recommend this tour and Sabrina!
Way too expensive for the service! The meeting point for ticket collection is very poorly indicated. Duration indicated is 3 hours of visit but only 1 hour with the guide and we only saw displays with armor from a distance! VIP experience? Not at all, because with this ticket you cannot go everywhere. It's expensive to access the underground!
Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that the experience did not meet your expectations. We regret that you found the meeting point difficult to locate and that the tour duration and content were not as expected. Your comments regarding the value of the experience and the itinerary are important to us and will be carefully reviewed to help us improve our services. Kind regards,
Very very informative experience. The guide was really good. The guide went through each area in detail...very interactive with the travelers and answered all questions with knowledge.
Christina was so knowledgeable and helpful. She knew where to go so that we could get most out of our time together. She was also very friendly and patient. It was a lovely tour.,
Such an awesome experience. Erica was super helpful and explained everything that we needed to know and was also was very easy contact. No lines and the tour group itself was not too big which made it very enjoyable. Highly recommend!
We had a great tour, and our guide was excellent! Unfortunately, because of the size of the group, those of us toward the back couldn’t always hear the audio whispers, so we missed some of the interesting information our guide was sharing during parts of the tour. That said, seeing the underground areas was absolutely awesome and made the experience worthwhile. Overall, it was a memorable tour, but better audio coverage for larger groups would make it even better.
I definitely recommend the underground tour. It was fascinating and our guide was so knowledgeable. It’s worth the time and extra cost. Very unique experience and skip all the long lines.
