Our tour guide, Constantine, was excellent. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining company. In addition to lots of food, we were also told a lot about Greek history and culture and why the various dishes were the way the were.
Important tip: do not eat breakfast before this tour. Perhaps even consider having a very light dinner the night before. There is so much food.

Great experience!
We had a great tour. Gulden, our guide, was terrific- we learnt much more about Athens than food alone - history, architecture and current state of affairs.

Perfect introduction to Athens
Gulden our guide was excellent! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic giving us a deeper understanding of not only Plaka and surrounding areas but Greece in general. All of the food and their vendors were fantastic.
Highly recommended! Do not eat beforehand!

Yanis took us on a deep dive through Greek food & history We loved it! He was able to explain how the culture and food are wrapped up together like a philo pie

My favourite food tour yet - excellent value, this turned out to be my favourite part of our Adriatic cruise trip!
Goldun was an absolute pleasure to have as our guide. I have done a couple food tours in Quebec, and the groups are much larger (around 12 to 15 people) and fewer stops, sample size portion. This tour was excellent value for the price and despite it being 5.5 hrs (which I worried about because I have nerve pain in my feet and sciatica), there were enough chances to sit and rest. I felt the tour provided a great balance of local food information, general information about the area mixed with history and a great discussion on recent events in Greece and how they have impacted citizen's way of life. I would advise people not to eat anything before the tour and not to make dinner reservations after :)

A Delicious Highlight of Our Time in Athens
We just finished an absolutely wonderful food tour with Constantine as our guide.
Constantine knows everything there is to know about eating in Athens and gave us lots of interesting information about the places we visited and the food we were eating.
And the food! So much of it - and it was all delicious! We went to little, out-of-the way, family-run places that we would never have found on our own.
I couldn't recommend this tour highly enough. A highlight of our time in Athens.

Konstantine is a fantastic guide, we enjoyed the tour very much. Go well rested and with an empty stomach because there is a lot to eat and it takes more than 6 hours (which fly by).

Loved this Athens experience
Fabulous food tour with Carolina. Loved all the different things we tried…many kinds of honey, different types of bougatsa (filo pastry with filling), fish (wonderful fish), deli meats, olives….coffee, yogurt, cheese, ice cream…I’m sure I’ve left something out! We walked through markets and visited shops with history. Carolina has a lot of personality and it was fun and interesting. And she is quite the VIP in the culinary world. What an experience!
