Great day out very relaxed. We were lucky to see a pod of pilot wales and several sperm wales. We hadn't taken on board that there was a swim stop so didn't have swim wear unfortunately. However the weather had turned cloudy at that point and had cooled off a lot. On the down side, the anouncements were inaudible,they really need a microphone. Overall though I would recommend it.
Not much chit chat by the crew but a lovely boat ride
Varied seeing of creatures, couple of whales in the morning, then at least 3 different pods on the evening sailing. Staff very informative and caring, made a wonderful experience!
We saw pilot whales and also dolphins. Swimming from the catamaran, off the coast at Cabo Girão, was the icing on the cake.
the 3 stars refer to my personal experience, as unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to see dolphins/whales. otherwise the crew is very good and the boat is excellent.
Great day spotting whales and dolphins with a peaceful boat journey and swimming stop. Great guides who were very kind, very worth the price.
A pleasant boat trip offshore . The big catamaran had lots of room to spread out , comfy seats inside and out . About four boats were clustered offshore we were in radio contact with them, about 45 mins later it was our turn to view the pod of about a dozen spotted dolphins . They seemed quite curious about us and we had a great view of these wild animals . After we motored back to the shore for anyone who wanted a swim. Then back along the coast to Funchal harbou after about three hours. Quite relaxing and the boat was well run.
This trip on the catamaran was just spectacular, they have a fabulous netted area at the front of the boat providing great views and the opportunity for sun bathing. We were lucky enough to see whales and got the opportunity for a swim with some amazing views. The crew were very friendly and fun! We would highly recommend this trip!
The whole experience was great, we saw two types of whales! The ride was nice and we also swam near the Cabo Girao! We would recommend it!
