ユダヤ人の歴史専門家と行く上海ユダヤ人街ツアー。

Absolutely incredible tour by Dvir, he was so knowledgable about the history in Shanghai and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I started my research for a tour of Shanghai’s Jewish Quarter almost a year ago by typing « Best Shanghai Jewish Quarter Tour « . Dvir’s name instantly popped up…and the rest, as they say, is history. There is nothing Dvir does not know about this period of Shanghai’s past, the Quarter itself—and its inhabitants. My family has a personal connection to the Quarter and Dvir was able to personalize certain parts of the tour based on this connection. This tour should be on the list of every visitor to Shanghai because it not only teaches you about human history, it also reveals what a special city Shanghai was…and is.

Fabulous and comprehensive. Dvir is so knowledgeable and interesting! A must for travelers interested in the history of Shanghai.

We have just completed the Jewish tour of Shanghai with Dvir and his knowledge is encyclopedic. We were a small group so it was easy to hear him I wish we could have had more time with him as I know he had so much more information about the Jewish families who came to Shanghai over the years and left such a huge imprint on the city If you are planning a trip to Shanghai I highly reccommend this tour with this amazing guide. Thank you Dvir

Dvir is very knowledgeable and I learned a lot in this tour. He took us to many significant locales. Pacing was good, too.

Wonderful, in depth tour. Dvir has expert knowledge, insight and energy. He made our Shanghai experience rich and nuanced. We could not have asked for more. I highly recommend this tour by Dvir.

We wanted to learn about the history of the Jews of Shanghai and could not have happier our choice of Dvir as our guide. The man is so well versed in this subject and presents his tours in a friendly and well researched manner making the experience enjoyable as well as informative and easy to understand. During the tour we stopped at numerous places of Jewish interest including the former ghetto where refugees from Europe lived and learning of the hardship of their existence. During the tour we stopped at the Jewish Museum which we found really fascinating and the nearby synagogue sadly now rarely used. We would not hesitate in recommending this company for a Jewish tour when visiting Shanghai we were left with memories that will be with us for a very long time and we are sure you will come away very happy with your choice of tour.

Conducted by a thoroughly professional guide revealing the inner secrets of Jewish Shanghai. A must for every travelor.

This tour was excellent in every way. Dvir was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The day moved seamlessly from one stop to the next both walking and using minivans. This day was a highlight of our visit to China. I would have preferred to be able to spend more time at the museum since the displays are very dense with information. Overall a moving experience.

Dvir Bar-Gal was a most knowledgeable guide. We learned so much about the Jewish history in Shanghai. We knew about the WWII community, but did not know anything about the 2 prior migrations of Jews that came from Iraq and Russia. The gravestone project, shown in the video, was so interesting and compelling. I wish we had had more time in the Jewish Museum - we were rushed and did not get to really experience the exhibits. Only other suggestion is for Dvir to speak more slowly. He has so much information to share - it's hard to absorb it all because he speaks very fast. Wonderful tour all in all - highly recommend it.
