Wonderful day out with a small group with the delightful Flora as our guide. She was unassuming, very knowledgeable and so warm and friendly. It was an absolute joy to spend the day with her. This was a well paced tour and I never felt rushed - great balance between guided tour and free time. Would definitely use this tour company again for further touring when in France.

Flore was a fabulous driver guide. She was prompt knowledgeable with great attention and followup. We had an hour of formal presentation followed by an hour to explore on our own. In between chateaus we had lunch in a quaint town. Highly recommend

Flore was a pleasure to spend our day with as a guide. She provided the perfect balance of historical insights with free time to explore. Her lunch recommendation offered delicious artisan bread and sandwiches.

Ophorus was very responsive to my questions before booking, and our guide Flore was fantastic—knowledgeable, enthusiastic about the region, and a very safe driver. The other family didn’t show, so we ended up with a private tour. We could have used about 30 more minutes at Chenonceau, but had plenty of time at Chambord. Loved our simple picnic lunch from a local boulangerie by the Cher River and the scenic backroads drive instead of major highways. The schedule allowed extra time in Tours both before and after the châteaux to explore the market and medieval district with its beautiful half-timbered houses. Overall, the tour felt well organized, and we would happily book with Ophorus and Flore again.

Excellent tour locations with an outstanding guide, Flore. She is very knowledgeable and had great information all along the way.

Our tour guide Charline was great. She was funny and personable, and was well versed in the history of both locations. She made our visits to Chenonceau and Chambord Castles with a quick lunch stop at Amboise special. And we lucked out as this ended up being a private tour! Highly recommend.

This experience was truely out of this world. I felt I had stepped into a fairy tale. Our guide Charline could not have done more to incorporate our needs and ensure we saw the highlights of each chateau. She worked hard to ensure the day was amazing. Merci beaucoup Charline

We had a great time being introduced to these chateaus by our guide. Our guide was very sweet and hospitable. He bacame our friend, super fun with alot of good energy. The castles were amazing. These 2 castles gave us just the right amount of culture and education. In between the castles our guide took us to a nice lunch spot. It was perfect. Don't waste your time going any place. Go to this little cute restaurant in the middle of a tiny street. (View photos) Great hamburger! ( I don't usually eat burgers,these are the bomb!). We loved our trip and our guide.

Great way to see two castles with chauffeur/guide who explained everything and then your own time to wander and lunch in between. Highly recommend as only small group.
