Traveling from Riga to Vilnius we had to choose between the cheap and direct bus route or taking a guided tour to see places we wouldn't otherwise see. We aren't normally "tour" people but the size of this (maximum of 8 people) and the energy of our guide (Laura) made it a highly successful day! We saw places we wouldn't have seen otherwise and getting to know Laura and her love for Lithuania was an absolute delight. She did a great job of sharing with us the important details of each stop and then giving us time to wander on our own. And lunch was fantastic! I highly recommend traveling this way between the two cities.

Excellent tour with a fantastic guide
This is an excellent way to get from one Baltic capital to another particularly as there is no train to do so. You cover many attractions outside of the capitals including Rundale Palace and have a stressless journey. It was also very enjoyable thanks to our wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable guide Laura. Highly recommended!

Just Do It! You won’t be disappointed!
This is the best way to see a lot in one day AND get your ride to Vilnius from Riga! Or vis a versa. Very good value and Travellers is great company to work with. I’ve taken 9 of their tours!

Incredible experience with Rūta to Riga
Our experience with Rūta from Vilnius to Riga was fantastic. She is so knowledgable and passionate that made the trip and every stop a great experience. She was always ensuring that we had all of our needs satisfied. She even managed to stop to be able to see the solar eclipse. Also the van and driving were perfect. Totally recommended.

Don't miss - Incredible PRIVATE tour from Vilnius to Riga!
Highly recommend making this tour PRIVATE. You get the flexibility and can do the Vilnius to Riga in approx 8 hours rather than 12 hours. I suggest spending more time in Kaunas and less at the Hill of Crosses and Rundale Palace.
The day was fabulous and Traveller Tours provided the fabulous Laura to take me from Vilnius to Riga. She was incredible with history and the culture of Lithuania (where she is from) and introduced great information about Latvia when we crossed the border. Laura is warm, personable and cared about making my experience extra special.

Fun road trip between Riga and Vilnius
This is a fun way to travel between Riga and Vilnius. Our guide, Laura, was so much fun and had so much to tell us about the history of the sites. This is also a great way to experience more of Latvia and Lithuania outside of their capitals.

An amazing journey
Six of us traveled from Riga to Vilnius and took Traveller's private guided tour. Our tour guide was Laura, a girl from Vilnius. Her guidance and introduction to the attractions along the way left a deep impression in our minds, adding many surprises and memories to this trip!

Absolutely great way to see the Baltic countryside
Traveller Tours’ Riga to Vilnius van tour was a fascinating way too see some of Latvia and Lithuania. From the moment our five person group assembled, Laura, our driver/guide set the pace for a very memorable day.
We were already talking comfortably among ourselves within 20 minutes, as we quickly cleared the Riga suburbs. Laura was a wealth of knowledge about the two countries and about the areas we were passing through. Most of the trip was along a two lane highway through to me surprisingly flat farm country, passing through very few villages and towns. There were stops at four separate sites - varied, interesting, and well-spaced.
Also a lunch stop at an interesting restaurant. The trip was scheduled for 12 hours, but Laura let us know early on that the duration would be closer to 11.

Must do tour see Latvia and Lithuania
Travelers tours are a must do city to city where you cover many more stops than a simple bus trip. Our guide Laura was very energetic and informative. She made the entire trip so good.
