Lucia was wonderful: easy to understand, interesting, funny, patient, confident, and friendly. I wish all of my tour guides would be like her.

A well paced tour with excellent guide Lucy with the red umbrella. My husband is post operative and needs to go at slower pace. At no time did we feel rushed.

Easy to find guide quite informative but spoke very very fast which made it difficult to keep up not much info given on the castle would have been just as easy to do it yourself

Very easy walk/hike up the Alcazaba, with the guide (Javier) providing detailed explanations of its ancient and more modern history. The guide walked at a slow pace, where people of all ages can follow along easily. However, comfortable footwear is still suggested as some of the steps are uneven. The guide then provided additional recommendations about restaurants, activities, other attractions of Malaga.

Somewhat uneven ground, lots of steps but tour very informative. Good views, history interesting & informative on other areas of Málaga.

We appreciated the ease of meeting up and the perfect duration of the experience, and we learned many unique details about the place and Malaga from the wonderful Federica, whom we thank, who accompanied us on the guided tour of the Roman Forum and the Alcazaba of Malaga.

The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, you can see that he loves his job. He told the history of the city more than that of the alcazar. The duration of the tour is just right

The guide Javier spoke English with a strong accent, but above all at a speed that made understanding impossible. We caught 30% of his words. He started by showing us a drawing of a building and asking us to locate it: a few guesses from the group later, he told us that this building was no longer there! Quite awkward as an introduction! Despite 3 reminders to slow down, he never corrected himself. He presents himself as a historian, but we did not appreciate his finesse. Every time he showed us a picture from his binder, we had 1.4 seconds to see it. He spent 15 minutes talking to us about seaside restaurants, where to buy ice cream, a complete waste of time. His attitude and his delivery made us tune out after 30 minutes. He discouraged us from going to the Picasso Museum, arguing that he was born in Malaga but had never lived there, and that the collection was not worth the detour since it was a loan from French museums. Out of 11 people in the group, there were 3 Muslims. When he explained the advent of the Inquisition to us, he showed us drawings of Muslims to demonstrate their prohibition to us, and when he wanted to depict the worst sins punished, he asked the group if we had ever heard of so--my!! Another awkward moment... I wanted to ask him for an example to make him realize the ridiculousness of his question. The visit ended in 75 minutes rather than 90, he was speaking so fast.
