The experience of visiting one of the wonders of the world was beautiful. I would like to commend our guide, Jorge, who was very friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable throughout the entire tour. However, I cannot say the same about the agency I booked with. The itinerary they provided was not entirely accurate, and I had to rush through Aguas Calientes to get to Machu Picchu on time. At one point, I was also concerned that I might not have a tour guide at all. Fortunately, the issue was eventually resolved, and I was assigned to another group. What made this experience particularly frustrating was that I had repeatedly asked the agency to confirm whether the itinerary was correct. I had also made my reservation several months in advance, so I expected better organization and communication. I would recommend that the agency pay closer attention to the itineraries they provide and ensure that all arrangements are properly coordinated in advance.
