Wonderful Tour
Wonderful tour. Thoroughly engaging and gave me a fresh pair of eyes on a museum I’ve been to a lot. Our guide was warm and funny, really enjoyed spending time with her. 100% recommend.

Fun, informative, and personal tour
Knowing how much I love to read and to write, my daughter gifted this tour to me and we attend together. Evan was so knowledgeable and attentive. She asked questions to help tailor the tour to our needs and likes. This was such a fun tour and Evan shared some of the secrets of the Met Museum too! We loved our tour and will absolutely book another in the future!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave that lovely review! It was honestly such a pleasure to meet you both and explore the museum with a "storied" twist--one of our favorite ways to explore it! While all our tours are inspired by stories, this one holds special meaning because it looks at the origins of stories themselves.
We look forward to seeing you on another tour!

Evan Levy’s guided tours of the MET
Many thanks Evan for two wonderful private tours of the MET. Evan’s Ghost Stories tour was fascinating as was her very informative ‘The Art of Stories’ tour which took us on a wonderful journey through the MET to discover 2000 years of stories which ranged from the twelve labours of Hercules to the significance of Arthurian legend in J K Rowlings Harry Potter series. Evan brought these and so many other well known stories to life through the sculpture, art and objects on display in the labyrinth of galleries that make up this fabulous museum.
While the museum was busy, Evan expertly navigated the crowds allowing us to get very close to her selected works.
To further enhance our experience of the art relating to these tours, Evan offered us a curated list of recommended books to read and films to watch. In doing so, the memory of these tours will live on for many months to come. Thank you for the lists Evan. I have made a start. 😊
I would recommend anyone wishing to take a tour of the MET with a delightful, well informed guide to contact Evan whose fee represented very good value for money.

Knowledge and Understanding
Evan Levy has a wealth of Knowledge and experience dealing with the Metropolitan Museum. She was filled with fun facts and an excellent conversationalist. The array of knowledge she hosts could possibly be overwhelming, but she is able to bring it into containment within highlights realm. Started with the first piece ever obtained a rather beautiful and heavy sarcophagus. It ended within the armory. A joy to have such a well-versed guide in such a large plethora of installations.

Incredible by a very experienced lady
This is an incredible and fascinating experience with the most wonderful Evan who worked at the Met for fifteen years. She is so full of knowledge so you can also ask questions about the art and museum. We loved every second.

The story of the story, must see!
So glad we were able to book this tour! Evie was amazing. She led us through the museum, detailing the history of “the story”. She was very engaging and knowledgeable about the whole museum, but the “story” and displays she shared to convey it was a wonderful way to see the museum in that light.

A fantastic whistlestop literary tour of the Met and its many treasures!
The tour was brilliant. Evie was a charming and inspiring tour guide with a real passion for her subject and an encyclopaedic knowledge of the museum! Evie transported us from Ancient Greece through Persia, ancient Egypt, medieval Britain, and Imperial China (to name but a few!) all the while cleverly interweaving the theme of stories and narratives, and their fundamental role in our lives. Highly recommended!

The Met but with a Literary Twist
Evan took us on a lovely tour and Hero's Journey through the Met and incorporated some well known literature and story telling styles that made things fun, and approachable. My literary-minded daughter and her best friend had an amazing time and so did I! Thank you, Evan!!
