We had a fabulous experience with professional, friendly and informative staff. Clyde, our Captain, and Emma, our guide were exceptional. The whole experience was one of breathtaking wonder underpinned by a responsible and respectful approach to viewing the magnificent humpbacks, orcas and sea lions we saw. It was an experience of a lifetime.

Guy and Penny were the most wonderful guides, and seemed such a good team together. We saw a little pod of white sided dolphins gently rolling along before we'd even left the harbour, and the places we travelled were just so beautiful. We saw a humpback whale, bear mama and her cub, stacks of sealions, and of course many seabirds and magnificent bald eagles of all ages. Service wise, the boat was great; easy to be in and outside (it also has a toilet). It was a lovely touch that they offer snacks and coffee (with reusable cups if you don't have one). Penny was so kind in sending us her gorgeous photos taken with a telephoto lens, which let us see the beautiful wildlife we had gasped at in much greater detail.

It was great to have enough seats both inside and outside for all guests. The boat was clean and the crew were good.

Our whale watching trip was fantastic! Our skipper, Guy, was great! And Penny was absolutely wonderful! So knowledgeable, kind and sweet with my kiddo! It was so lovely to be out on the water, enjoying nature and seeing wildlife. The highlight was seeing the sea lion baby and getting splashed by the water. Thank you so much!

While we didn't get to view any orcas, we did get to watch a large group of sea lions on shore, as well as a group of porpoises, dolphins and many eagles. Missing out on the whales was mildly disappointing, but the scenery more than made up for it. Our guide, Sam, and skipper, Elliot were very friendly and knowledgeable. They made our trip that much more fun!

A wonderful experience with our friendly and knowledgeable guides, John and Janet. The boat was really comfortable and such a bonus to have an indoor and outdoor seat, as well as a few different spots to see the wildlife. We saw several Humpback Whales (and what a show they put on!), Sea Lions, Seals and some interesting birds. I also enjoyed learning more about indigenous history and culture as well, as some interesting facts about Campbell River, the whales and other wildlife. When you go, bring some layers - it was almost 30 degrees when we went and some spots were quite chilly! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing 8 hour private boat tour with Homalco Wildlife Tours to see whales and grizzly bears. We had 9 people including children. Sam was our knowledgeable and friendly guide and Ron was our experienced boat driver. They were both excellent at their jobs and made our experience very comfortable and eye-opening. Holly in the office communicated very patiently with me to facilitate the organization of our tour. We were fortunate to see orcas, sea lions, seals, eagles and humpback whales. Ron kept the boat at a safe distance so as not to endanger the animals and Sam gave us all kinds of interesting information on what we were seeing. The scenery along the route was unparalleled and we all felt very fortunate to be able to experience the beauty of this place. Thank you all for making our tour an unforgettable experience.

the native information Cassie shared was wonderful . We really appreciated Elliot's attention to wildlife viewing restrictions as safety for the animals is paramount. We did take lots of great photos and loved the overall experience, Great tour!
