The tour wouldn’t have been rated so low, but with our specific tour, the tour guide was over an hour late. I tried to reach out about 15-20 min before the tour started to ensure we were at the correct spot. The local tour company responded and said that the tour was changed an hour later and they had tried to contact me. I had no messages or texts indicating the time change, so as a visitor on a cruise, I got up earlier and rushed through breakfast to ensure that I was time only to find out I had to sit around for an hour+ in the humidity for no reason. Now starting the tour, it seemed to be going ok. We made some of the scheduled stops and were now on our way to the market. We were supposed to make a stop at the overlook of Hercules’ Caves. I spoke to the tour guide and he said we were not stopping because of the crowds. This would not have been a problem if we started on time!! So now we get to the market area, stop for lunch, and seemed to get free time for shopping. Instead, guests are pulled into a shop to sit through a 30 minute+ “presentation” for Moroccan oil products which cut in considerably to our time. The rest of our tour was basically walking through the rest of the market toward the exit near the cruise port. Pretty sure many of the people on our tour felt the same way. If someone is planning on visiting Tangier, I’d suggest doing a private tour where you have more say in what you’ll be doing or just make your own way. Completely disappointed!!!
Salam! The group decided to start at 10am and you want to start early And for the cave all of them wanted to go to the market but you not Like you said on the review next time you book private and let people enjoy each other cuz you been rude during the tour to everyone My group were happy
Lack of communication with management. Tour vehicle overbooked because people had to sit in the back seat that was higher than the other seats and only gave sight to the sidewalk plus it was very cramped!!! The other seats were also cramped and most uncomfortable for anyone with long Les! Visitings the caves was a joke! Would not recommend this tour!
Salam! I'm very sorry that you didn't enjoy but other people on the group enjoyed and were very happy 😊
While we did the things listed on this tour, and the guide was pretty good, there were times it was disorganized and there was a lack of communication. We specifically chose the option without lunch. Before we knew it, we were shuffled into a restaurant, served food, and charged for it at the rate of 20 Euros per person.
Salam! I'm really sorry but the whole group decided to eat lunch You should tell your guide that you not going to eat and 20€ per person for big meal and drinks It's a fair price.
Booked for 9:00, the owner decided that we would leave at 10:00 without notifying us, leaving us waiting at the port for 1h30 since the actual departure of the tour began at 10:30. A slapdash tour, done in a rush because of the late departure and the ship's tight departure schedule. Instead of taking you to the Cave of Hercules, they take you to a sort of side-cave bazaar. Nothing that you cannot do with the red bus, which costs peanuts and does the same route. The forced shopping in the stores they choose is the icing on the cake. I would say it was an experience to forget.
Hello! All my group decided to start at 10am but you are the only who wants to start at 9am this is not a private tour and you been rude to my assistance all the time
While our guide Chop Chop was nice, overall our experience with this tour was disappointing... After booking the tour I was contacted by Nabil who simply messaged “10 am”. I replied asking if it was difficult to get to the pickup location from our cruise port to which he said no, however he failed to inform me that the pick up location was not the one provided through the app. In the morning my partner and took a 20 minute hike to the destination provided through the app. Luckily we were early, because after I messaging Nabil to tell him we had arrived at the provided location, he called to tell me the whole group was waiting on us and we needed to RUN practically all the way back to the port. The transportation van had no issues but the tour felt very rushed, with no history or information provided about the locations we were visiting. The energy was very much “get out, take a photo, on to the next location. Despite being on the itinerary, we did not go to the Hercules cave, which caused confusion and contention for many people on our tour since it was on the itinerary for half of the group but not the other. The lunch that our group was ushered into was good, although there didn’t seem to be much of an option to opt out as it was positioned halfway through the tour and the alternative seemed to be to wait on the street for whoever wanted to eat to finish their meal. After a very quick walk through the market, and what seemed like a coordinated sales pitch for an overpriced, seemingly MLM argan oil shop, we were quickly put back in the van and sent back to the cruise ship. Based on our experience and the temperature of the rest of our group upon leaving, I’m surprised that there are only 5 star reviews on this tour and I would not likely recommend others take this tour.
Sorry it was your fault you missed the meeting point I had 20 people all of them were on time And yes don't be surprised all my reviews 5 star
Fanatastic experience. The owner and our guide (Abdul) were terrific; fluent in English, pickup meeting was easy and Abdul was early. Very knowledgeable about the local area and its history. Comfortable Mercedes van. Brought us to a couple of great shops in the Medina we would never have found on our own.
Thank you so much for your great review 😊
Everyone need experience Morocco. This is my third time going with Nabil Tangier and will keep going back. The guides are so knowledgeable and friendly. You really get the best of what Tangier has to offer with them!
Thank you so much for your great review hope to see you again
Morocco was AMAZING!!!! Our tour guides picked the most beautiful places and made our first experience in Morocco unforgettable! Thank you so much Nabil and Chop Chop! We cant wait to come back.
Wonderful experience from start to end. Very professional, accommodating and very helpful. The places we visited, the food we ate and all the experiences were great.
Nabil is an excellent guide! Very courteous, timely and knowledgeable guide. I will definitely recommend him and I look forward to joining him again on a longer visit.
