Terrible experience – $900 lost and no proper solution
Avoid this tour and operator. We paid $900 for two people and had a terrible experience. The tour was repeatedly postponed at the last minute for several days. When the tour finally started, the vehicle had no drinking water, and both of us became unwell during the journey. We had to turn back. After that, we were repeatedly promised another vehicle and another day, but the arrangements kept changing. Eventually, we had to leave Sri Lanka without receiving the tour we paid for. We also asked for assistance with airport transportation, were told it would be arranged, and then received no proper help. We lost $900 and Viator did not resolve the situation to our satisfaction.
