Thought a while about whether to leave a review, as it’s difficult for tour operators in India without 5 stars. However, this food tour did not meet expectations. We believed we were signing up to try local food at various locations, but instead we had a sit-down meal at a single location that probably cost $20 max. We didn’t fully realize that we were stopping at a single restaurant instead of hopping between places on a food tour until near the end, when the guide ordered dessert and chai. At that point, it felt too late to say anything. We were told we had gone to the restaurant since it was raining, but we wish we had had a choice.

I recommend this experience of walking around Charminer, enjoying the delectable local street food cuisine. Ms Sashi was an excellent well informed guide and companion, making the experience a memorable one

This is a great tour if you want to truly experience the city! We walked through bustling streets where the locals shop and ducked into busy little restaurant's to taste some authentic Indian food. Great experience, highly recommend!

This nighttime food tour was the perfect way to dive into the city the night we arrived. We had a great time wandering with our guide John. We had great food from places we wouldn't have been brave enough to try (let alone to find!) on our own. He was good natured and fun to hang out with, and great at taking photos of the night. It was very clear he wanted to fit the tour to our needs - and gave the impression much of it could be modified if necessary. We told him we wanted to be adventurous and we did just that! It was a great memory, and would totally recommend this tour to travellers looking to get an authentic local flavor!

We did the food walk tour in the Hyderabad old city with Mr Srinu. It was a wonderful gastronomic experience. All along the walking tour he shared plenty of historical facts and wonderful tit bits. At the end of it we wished the tour lasted a bit longer so that we could have sampled many more culinary delights the old city has to offer.

We had an amazing time on the food walk with John! This is the perfect tour for the adventurous traveler who wants to experience authentic local food in Hyderabad. We would’ve never found the restaurants that John took us to on our own - plus going with a local guide makes the experience infinitely more fun and informative! Be aware that you will eat a lot! Don’t eat lunch before your evening tour as you will not leave hungry. :)

Guide was great at taking pictures! Very informative. Driver was very safe. The palace was my favourite. Not sure it is really worth £73

Srinu was very knowledgeable about hyderabadi street food. He has connections with all vendors and allowed us to get a peek into how the food is actually created. He also does a great job recommending other places in the city to check out!

This was my 2nd time doing this as a private tour and the host was kind enough to customize it just for me with no repeat dishes! First we went to the spice market and he helped me order and then was SO MUCH delicious food! The host John was nice enough to ensure I wasn’t given portions that were too large, just like I requested. We also got to visit Charminar, it was a lovely tour filled with amazing food!

A not to be missed culinary experience in Hyderabad. In the capable hands of guide Srinu, we tasted so many dishes during the walk, and learnt about the unique food of the city, including the Hyderabadi Biryani, which was so much better than the English version.
