Tour operator sent us a WhatsApp the day before the tour (Worldtours Italy) saying that they didn't have enough people signed up, so it was cancelled and we could either rebook a different tour, reschedule that one, or get a refund. I said refund, then I booked a new tour with a different tour company. A few hours later, we got another message from a different number (Worldtours staff) saying they would pick us up at 8am the next day. We also received conflicting information through Viator messaging. 10 days later, we had not received a refund and they did not reply to my follow up WhatsApp message, so I had to go through Viator to get a refund. Communication with this tour company was awful - I'm still not sure if the tour actually took place or not - and I would not recommend.

This tour was amazing! Antonio Carola was the best driver, he took great care of us and was very knowledgeable about the area. When we got to Pompeii, Roberta provided an insightful and informative tour. She was very passionate and knowledgeable and provided us a world class tour of the ruins.

Myself and my husband and children along with our friends and children did a private Pompeii and Vesuvius tour with Antonio Carelo today. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was there with a clearly marked sign when we left our cruise and was friendly and welcome from the minute we said hello. He was informative and interesting telling us what all the sights around us were. We first visited Pompeii. He was kind and provided lots of water on what was a very very hot day. We then took a wonderful drive up to Vesuvius. Antonio opened the roof on the vehicle we were in making the experience even more special. It was a fantastic day and we could not have asked for a better guide. I would highly recommend. Thank you

A very interesting and informative tour. Luka our tour guide met us on the jetty with our name on a board so was easy to find. We were a group of 7 (5 adults and two children), and we were with another family of 5. So we were a small group, firstly we were taken by a comfortable mini bus to Pompeii (30 mins) with Luka giving a good running commentary on the way. We had time before going into Pompeii so see how Cameos were made and a chance to buy. For Pompeii Luka handed us over to Nico, a friendly and knowledgeable archaeologist who gave us a fascinating insight into Pompeii. Then time for lunch before taking the minibus onto Vesuvius. Again Luka explained everything and made sure we knew exactly what and how everything happened. The walk up Vesuvius was hot but well worth it, including the cold beer at the top. Overall would totally recommend this trip and selecting Luka if the opportunity arises. Our driver Franchestco was also super and gave us a safe transit between stops.

Right from the start, the communication was prompt, crystal-clear, and effortless, which made planning completely stress-free. The entire itinerary was perfectly timed from start to finish - everything ran like clockwork without ever feeling rushed. The absolute highlight of the trip, however, was Eugenio. He radiated such positive energy and warmth from the moment we met him! On top of taking great care of us during the tour, he gave us a fantastic look at Naples along the way, turning the drive into an extra mini-tour filled with great local vibes. We loved the experience and Eugenio's incredible service so much that we didn't hesitate to book him again for our airport transfer. If you are looking for a seamless, well-organized trip with world-class hospitality, look no further. 10/10 highly recommended!

Very interesting look around Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius - Antonio our chauffeur was great - Patricia the tour guide seemed to know her stuff but her English wasn’t brilliant (she struggled with questions) - Mount Vesuvius was also great to look round - that’s two things off the bucket list

We really enjoyed this excursion to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius. Anna was our guide through Pompeii, and it was interesting to see the ancient city and learn more about its history. Antonio Carola, our driver, was friendly, professional, and hospitable throughout the day. He kept everything running smoothly and even arranged a lunch reservation for us at a restaurant at the base of Mt. Vesuvius. The pizza and pasta were excellent and made for a nice break before heading up the mountain. The views from Mt. Vesuvius were amazing, and the overall itinerary was well planned. We’d definitely recommend this excursion to anyone visiting the area.

Absolutely amazing tour. Our driver Antonio Carola was so knowledgeable, polite and made us feel very safe. His knowledge of key places along our drive was second to none, and where we made good time he stopped off at the beautiful church in Pompeii. He handed out bottles of ice cold water many times which was very welcomed as it was so hot!! His communication was brilliant too, keeping in contact via WhatsApp and sending us photos that he had taken. Our guide Anna around Pompeii was good, and her knowledge was also brilliant. It was very hustle and bustle around the ruins, so sometimes it was hard to hear what she was saying but other than that it was very interesting and educational. Thank you for a great day out that I’m happy to say I’ve ticked off my bucket list!
