Great tour, with an wonderful family! And the water buffalo is really sweet too. Overall amazing Experience.

hoang was so informative about Vietnamese agriculture and history! We had super in depth conversations all day while having a super unique experience of farming, learning about fishing, riding a water buffalo, learning about the history of rice and how to make it and cooking at Hoang’s family home! It was such a great experience and I feel so grateful to have found this tour!

This was an exceptional experience. The bike ride through rice fields and the villages was beautiful and serene. Informative and fun while being intimate. We felt welcomed at Hoang’s family home. The lunch was delicious and beautiful and his wife made a few dishes we we cant wait to try to cook ourselves we get home

Wonderful local farm experience! The bike ride through the peaceful rice fields and quiet village neighbourhoods was just great. The quiet, adorable water buffalo, was such a honor and a pleasure to meet and be able to take a short ride. Working the rice field with the buffalo was another genuine experience. The bike ride continued to the local home where a genuine homemade meal was prepared, while we learned more about how rice is grown, cut, harvested & prepared - as well as trying our hand at each step. Highly recommend - a truly wonderful genuine local experience not to be missed!

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable half day with our guide Mr. Hoang in Hôi An, Vietnam. We began in the Tra Que vegetable village, watching the ancient hoeing and planting process and trying it out ourselves. Then a ride in a basket boat (a coracle) to check out traditional fishing with fine nets at a fisherman's village. We caught two small fish, including a poisonous puffer, and threw them back. Mr. Hoang took us to his home - he's a long-time rice farmer - where we learned the steps from harvesting to producing white rice. He and his wife cooked up an amazing lunch for us, with pumpkin soup, rice pancakes with shrimp and pork wrapped in rice paper, water spinach, chicken in passion fruit sauce, and succulent white rice!

This was my second on time on this tour. Second time quite disappointing. Couldn’t take photos on cycle ride as tour person cycled way out in front. Family meal wasn’t with the family. I was also insulted profusely about my appearance. Very disrespectful.

Guide (Pham Quang Thûan) very considerate, cultivated, of extreme kindness, for a bike ride off the beaten track, to discover a traditional way of life. The visit to the farm and rice producer were great, with a very warm welcome and a lot of friendliness. Tourism we love.

Such an amazing and memorable experience! Mr. Hoang was extremely patient with us in answering all our questions around Vietnam city life to country life and our hopes and dreams for the future generations. Riding a water buffalo was a once in a lifetime experience. The best part was going to his house and learning more about rice processing and milling to get the foods we later cooked and were served by him and his wife.

The trip was very nice. Nice bike route we stopped a number of times and the guide always told us what. Buffalo riding was also a unique experience. It was fun to see how and how they used to grow rice. After all this also learned how to get rice plant to rice grain. The morning ended with a cooking course and that nature itself completely delicious eaten. We cycled back to the hotel. Was a very successful morning 10/10
