Our tour guide, Miriam, was outstanding. She was personable and knowledgeable about food, wine and the Alsace region. She shared much interesting information and we enjoyed our food walking tour very much!

It’s a walking tour and you get to see many places in the historic city. We had a lovely guide that give us historical facts along with food facts.

Myriam was a fantastic guide! Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about local food venues but also about the history of the villages. The tour truly provided a full meal and gave a wonderful overall view of local shops. Would highly recommend!!

We took this trip with long time Colmar resident, Myriam. Who grew up in a nearby area. She was very attentive and answered our questions as she showed us both the food and history of this historic and very pretty town in the heart of the wine area of Alsace. We learnt about the age of some of the almost Germanic buildings and some of its notable residents, including the person responsible for the Statue of Liberty. She showed us and educated us on the local food and wine having previously run tours on the wine route and we tried both cheese and charcuterie of the area,.,We then tried the local biscuits before we sat down to a substantial meal and local wine at a traditional local restaurant including some unexpected live music. Myriam was very generous with tips and links to a variety of local activities to enhance our stay. A great way to start your trip to Colmar with the lovely Myriam.

What a delightful tour! Miriam was so knowledgeable about the city and the architecture and we so enjoyed listening to her while we toured the city streets. She showed us some lovely shops where we tasted meats and cheeses and boissons of all sorts! I wish I could buy one of each and fit them all in my suitcase! This is a wonderful way to get to know the city. Highly recommend!
