We were able to fully explore the Chora Church seeing all the mosaics and icons in their glory as well as visit the Patriarchate of Constantinople Cathedral of St George and experience the relics inside. Our guide then showed us the colorful beauty of the Fener and we stopped for a great lunch (self paid) in one of the many delicious smelling restaurants. We visited a few more sites and drove past miles of the spectacular old walls of the city. A very worthwhile tour. Bring your walking shoes.
