A very relaxing, informative, and fun tour! The sunny weather was perfect to catch a view of the Cayambe volcano. We had an Andean delicacy tasting, a short bus show, and a very unexpected concert! The short walk to the waterfall was refreshing, and shopping at the traditional Otavalo market left us satisfied (and penniless!). Thank you so much, Diana, for all the interesting facts along the way, and to Silvio for the smooth ride back and forth!

We loved this tour to Otavalo. Irene is an excellent guide, she knows everything about her country and her explanations are very entertaining. We ate sponge cakes, saw a beautiful lake, listened to folk music, visited a waterfall, and went to the Otavalo market to buy souvenirs from Ecuador. A very complete tour with the best guide.

The tour was fantastic! Our guide Daniel was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the local history. We loved having the chance to interact with the people of Otavalo and learn about their traditions and way of life. Highly recommend this experience!

irene was a fantastic bilingal guide. She took the time and effort to explain thungs even when we just started the tour. I travel a lot and that it is very rare most guides dont bother. It is obvious she loves her job and she is very professional with a touch of friendlyness. I highly recommend her service!

Wow! Jammed pack day, was me and 2 other awesome women, and of course our guide Ernesto!!!! He is so knowledgeable, upbeat, and positive which made it a great experience. We started by trying some traditional breakfast along with seeing one of the slightly off equator lines. Then we saw a beautiful lake, waterfall then headed to the Otavalo Market where it was fun walking around even though I got a little heat sensitive towards the end. Overall a radical time and would definitely recommend.

The tour to Otavalo was unforgettable, the guide Irene gave us a cultural and gastronomic tour through Cayambe and Otavalo, she speaks fluent English and has profound knowledge. The driver Andrés, very good behind the wheel, brought us safely. I would take a tour with Irene again.

I loved the tour. I went with my partner and we enjoyed it a lot. Irene was an excellent guide, you can tell the love she has for what she does and for her country. In addition, we were picked up and dropped off at the hotel by an excellent driver, Andrés. I would return to this tour and country without a doubt.

Mark-up in cost for a single traveller was not worth it, for the overall experience. The guide, Pam, is great. Very friendly, extremely knowledgeable. The driving was safe. The best (and really only day) for going to the market is Saturday. Prices were higher than in Quito at the arts market, though variety is greater. If you are willing to wander a few blocks away from the market you can find stores selling similar items for a bit less money.
