We all had such a wonderful time. Susan provided such a pleasurable experience during our stop in Invergodon. She made sure that we saw all the must-stops and educated us along the way. Our time in Invergorden was by far our favorite excursion on this entire trip.
Great tour, like a sampler platter, saw a lot of the Scottish Highlands and historic sites. Aleman was a great and knowledgeable guide that took his time explaining the sites and allowing us enough go time to explore. Well done!
Aleman is an excellent tour guide tour guide. He is well versed about the history of places we visited. and though we are a big group, he was able to get every body to listen to him at the start of every place we visited. Took us back to the ship on time. A very personable guy.
This was such a wonderful tour! Our guide was quite knowledgeable about the area, the sights we saw and the culture. She was lovely and made the trip really fun. We particularly appreciated that she made sure we saw everything we wanted to see and then also provided a few surprise sights that we didn’t even know were in the area. We learned so much from her. Don’t miss this tour! Even though there were only two of us, instead of four, so the cost was high, it was still well worth it. Also, the tour was marketed as starting at 9:00am but our ship didn’t dock until noon. Viator and the local company providing the tour accommodated us by starting later. We so appreciated the accommodation.
What a day!!! Great time with Aleman..He was very informative and accommodating of what we wanted to see the most.. He always communicated on time and answered all questioned. We are a group of eight from Arkansas. Aleman is a must booked !!!
It was a wonderful experience, our guide Tobias was wonderful, very knowledgeable and super flexible, totally ensured we were on time back at the cruise port.

We were surprised how much we enjoyed Cawdor Castle; we knew nothing about it prior to going. He recommended an excellent pub for lunch which had our favorite blackberry cider on tap that we can’t get in the US. With six of us, his tour was more economical and took us to more locations than the excursion through the ship.

Aleman did an excellent job guiding us through Inverness’s main attractions. We had the chance to visit Urquhart Castle and also went to the Culloden Battlefield, among other sights. If you’re short on time to explore the city or you just want a private experience, I think this is a great option, since the tour is highly customized to what you want to see and to the group’s specific interests and preferences. Overall, 100% recommended, and we would definitely take another tour with him or with Friendly Highland Tours.
