I had the most wonderful experience with Sita who curated a tailored visit to fit my interests. Her story telling skills are outstanding and the almost 4 hours we spent together went by fast just because it was so great. This tour was a highlight of my stay in India and I am forever grateful for all that I learned about the local history and culture.

Easy booking process and meeting point with charming local guide Poormina who was friendly and knowledgeable. She was happy to answer our questions and follow areas of our personal interest. Nicely planned and well paced including the best dosa in town at local speciality cafe!

I went with my family this December in Bangalore Old Town/Pete Market. Great tour, worth the price, highlight was lunch stop which was fantastic. Our guide was very knowledgable and willing to answer any questions on the fly.

Vidya is a great storyteller and made the very long history of India and Bengaluru come alive in the streets of Pete neighborhood. I took the tour on my first day in Bangalore and it really helped understand and navigate the city during the rest of my visit. Arranging the trip was also a breeze with very clear and swift communication. Highly recommend!

Vidya has a wealth of knowledge about Bangalore, which she lovingly and skillfully imparted to us during the tour – a highly recommended tour, where you learn so much interesting and helpful information. You can feel that she loves her work and the people. For example, she showed us a converted bus where we could sample Indian coffee. Later, she bought fragrant flower garlands for both of us. I think that was a very nice gesture—the scent stayed with me all day. Finally, I bought some delicious Indian sweets with her to take home. As planned—this tour was worth every cent. The Pete history tour with Vidya was great, she really knows a lot about the area and is happy to explain in detail things related to the history of Bangalore, Hindu religion, local customs etc. There is a good mix of topics covered so it's not all just about one thing, I really learned a lot and she is very good company. I have done other tours with other guides through this company in the past and they have all been really good.

The tour was excellent and Kavya was very knowledgeable of the history and very welcoming! We enjoyed her stories and enjoyed visiting the temples and walking through the tour. We also had the best dosas we had in our trip for lunch. We would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful private walking tour in the old city with Poornina who is one of founders of Unhurried. Our tour included Bangalore Fort, a wonderful temple, the vibrant and chaotic old city and the fascinating market. One of the highlight was to experience a ceremony in the temple including getting the red dot on my face and even rice served on leaf to eat. Poornina is a very knowledgable and attentive guide and also a very friendly person to chat with. I really enjoyed the time with her!

It was a great pleasure taking this tour in a small district but nevertheless endless things to learn about. For us this was a 3hrs deep dive in Bangalores history and culture. Would definitely recommend this tour. Thank you so much!

Very interesting walk of historical centre of Bangalore. A special highlight was the Jain temple. Kavya was a great guide. I also enjoyed the dosas at a historic cafe.
