Traveling from Bali to Lombok was simple with this service. The crew was welcoming, the boat was spacious and comfortable, and the ride offered beautiful ocean views. Everything ran smoothly, making our trip relaxing from beginning to end.

I nearly got killed. There is no gangplank , and when we got to Lombok , the boat men knew I had a bad leg , so offered to take my hands , and said after 3. The boat then moved back from the harbour wall, and I said it’s too far, I won’t reach, but they still counted and pulled me. I don’t know how I did it , but I lunged forward and landed on my knees on the harbour wall. My husband screamed out to them because he thought I was was going to fall down the side of the boat and be crushed, as did I. Then , they were pulling at my arms saying get up, get up. I was screaming at them to get off me , but until my husband really shouted they didn’t let go. I had to get up in a way I could , and my husband helped me. I was so shaken up and he was , that by the time we got in the car our hotel had arranged, we were both crying and shaking. Local people pretended they wanted to help us with their luggage and then demanded money. I am in agony now and can hardly walk. All our plans for Lombok are on hold and I pray 🙏 I improve greatly in the next few days. Not only is it unsafe the workers are totally irresponsible, and these people should be closed down . Is it going to take a death for them to enforce safety standards? In England they would be jailed . It is not the best way to start our trip as I’m sure you can imagine. Not only that the driver who collected us from the hotel and took us to the dock drove like a lunatic on the fast roads , and it’s amazing we actually got there. The toilets weren’t working , the boat was not clean and the stench of fumes I’m sure is a health hazard. Even our driver once in Lombok said the company was not known to be good or safe , so why is viator using them and why do they have 5 stars? And why , when it came to it last night I could not get hold of anyone to raise a complaint. Absolutely disgraceful and disgusting and so unsafe we are still shocked. I fear that I have been permanently damaged, and will be taking legal advice. I suggest you contact me as a matter of urgency, Viator, the mariner group and anyone else involved. The public I advise DO NOT USE!

Used this service in July and honestly it’s the best. They picked us up directly at the hotel, super convenient. The crossing was fast but still safe, so the trip felt efficient. Inside, the AC worked great and the seats were comfortable. Can’t complain, would book again anytime
