We truly hit the jackpot with this tour. Our guide was the wonderful Eugenio. His stories will walk you through history from Roman times to meeting the Metallica band in a bar after their concert in the Verona Arena. If Eugenio was your history teacher in high school you would no doubt be a lover of history today - deep in the details yet supremely amusing. Don't miss this experience!
Eugenio is a great guide! We were a group of ten and everyone was able to hear and be engaged. He has great knowledge of the history and pointed out so many interesting spots! He was patient (we stopped a couple of times to get pizza and gelato) and he later suggested a great place for dinner too. Overall a great experience!
We had an amazing walk through the city, learning so much about the art, architecture and history of Verona. I highly recommend doing this tour on your first fay on Verona, as it will help you settle in. Well done Eugenio. Thank you
We visited Verona with a guide named Eugenio, a true professional, able to entertain and make the visit very pleasant while explaining the history of the place.
Eugeno was fantastic at making us discover his city and showing us lots of things we would have missed without him. We really enjoyed the tour and had a great time with Eugeno.
Not just a guided tour, more like being shown the sites by a friend of the family who happens to be a professor in Verona.
Eugenio was our guide, nice and exhaustive made us see even small gems outside the usual sightseeing tours. He also told us interesting anecdotes about the history of Verona and some of its monuments.
I had a great tour of Verona with Eugenio. His knowledge of the history, art and buildings of Verona was fantastic and the three hours passed very quickly. I recommend him without any hesitation. It was a great way to get my bearings in the city and decide what I wanted to go back and spend some more time visiting.
This is a very interesting, informative and pleasant walking tour of the beautiful city of Verona. We were able to take our time, enjoying the city, while learning about its history and architecture. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to spend a few hours getting to know Verona.
I recommend a guided tour of Verona with this guide to anyone visiting. There's nothing better than an art historian who grew up in Verona and understands it in all its nuances from the smallest details of its beautiful architecture, culture to its rich history from the Roman Empire to today. We strolled through the center of this beautiful city and I was captivated by the wealth of details my guide shared with me. Even though I've visited the city many times over the past year, this guided tour allowed me to rediscover Verona again... 🤩✨🥳
