Our original plan was to travel from Bran towards Bucharest with a stop at Peleș Castle, but when we mentioned that we would really love to see the Transfăgărășan, Ivan was incredibly flexible and made it happen for us. He spent the whole day with us and never made us feel rushed. We could stop whenever we wanted, enjoy the scenery, take photos and simply experience the road at our own pace. We even saw bears along the way, which made the day unforgettable. The Transfăgărășan was one of the highlights of our whole trip to Romania, and having Ivan as our driver made the experience even better. He was professional, calm, helpful, spoke very good English and made us feel safe throughout the journey. The price was also very reasonable, especially if you are travelling as a small group. We were four people, so the cost per person made the experience excellent value for money. This was much more than a transfer from Bran to Bucharest — it became a full-day experience that we will remember for a long time. Thank you, Ivan, and thank you Zigo Travel. We visit the three castles with Constantin who was very attentive, kind, always willing to help us in answering our questions etc. We had to buy the Peles tickets on line and he helped sending the oficial link and letting us know which time frame to buy. The rest of the tickets were bought on each castle. We asked him in advance if we could bring our luggage with us because we had reservations in Brasov, so after the tour, he drove us to our Airbnb.

We had a day trip to see the sights in Transylvania. Our driver and guide was Roxana - she was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and got us into the locations so we didn't have to work out how to proceed - she did it all for us.

Our driver was very knowledgeable about the history, visibly passionate about his job, accommodating and flexible, spoke excellent English and helped us with everything he could. I strongly recommend this tour as Cantacuzino castle isn’t yet overrun by the tourists so you can enjoy it almost on your own.
