Coming into this trek, we were all a little nervous; but, we have never been more blessed by a group of people. Our guide, Suman was the best thing to ever happen to our group here in Nepal. His knowledge, attitude, and character was central to our positive experience. We never felt unsafe or not taken care of. Our porters, Yogesh and DP, became some of our best friends. There was never a spare moment without laughter with our group. Throughout our trek, we conquered some of the highest mountain passes in the world and our guide, Suman, was always looking out for us. He helped us maintain a pace that we could recover from at such a high altitude, but also matched our fitness. Thank you so much Nepal High Trek for giving us the most amazing experience. I would recommend anyone who wants to tackle any journey in Nepal with Nepal High Trek, and hopefully with Suman and the boys! Please use them for your future journeys!

Our experience doing the Three High Passes was incredible! Our guide Suman was so knowledgeable about the area. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Great trip that was well organised. Accommodation was good along the trek and views were unbeatable! Our group was small which made it easy to get to know the other people on the trip which was good as a solo traveller. 11 days was the perfect length trip and the guide and porters from Nepal High Trek Expedition were friendly and helpful. Overall an amazing experience that was great value for money.

I had the best time on the EBC trek with Buddhi and Buddha, they were a great support and motivation during the whole trek. Always in a good mood and always so helpful. Just completed an unforgettable Everest Base Camp trek in April 2026 with Nepal Hike Trek and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish, but the real difference-maker was our guide Suman. From day one, Suman demonstrated a level of personalised care that went far beyond what you’d expect from a trek guide. Every evening without fail, he would check in to debrief how the day went, set clear expectations for tomorrow, and ensure we had everything we needed for the night ahead — including proactively arranging extra blankets before the temperatures dropped. These small gestures made an enormous difference to our comfort and confidence at altitude. His practical guidance was invaluable and genuinely thoughtful. Early in the trek he advised us to switch to bottled water at the right altitude and recommended avoiding meat above a certain elevation — advice that proved critical for keeping our digestive systems stable throughout the high altitude sections. This kind of proactive, experience-based guidance is exactly what separates an exceptional guide from an ordinary one. Our group of three had very different fitness levels — I was the slowest — and Suman never once made me feel like I was holding anyone back. He paced the group perfectly, kept all three of us together throughout, and ensured I had every opportunity to complete the trek at my own rhythm without falling behind. His daily encouragement and honest assessment of what lay ahead gave me the confidence to push through even the most demanding days. His knowledge of acclimatisation was outstanding — his daily guidance kept our group safe, healthy and moving at exactly the right pace throughout the ascent. When one of our group members developed a medical emergency at Namche Bazaar, Suman handled the situation with complete calm and professionalism, swiftly coordinating helicopter evacuation arrangements that got our colleague to safety quickly. In a high-altitude emergency, having a guide with that level of composure and capability is genuinely invaluable. The little touches stayed with us too — fresh fruit served after dinner each evening was a thoughtful gesture that felt genuinely caring rather than routine. Suman’s combination of technical expertise, warmth, encouragement and genuine concern for every member of the group made what is already a life-changing trek into something truly extraordinary. We reached Everest Base Camp feeling safe, supported and inspired every step of the way. If you’re planning an EBC trek, Nepal Hike Trek — and specifically Suman — should be your first and only call. Five stars without hesitation. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Had the best experience ever! Buddhi, Buddha and Amar were amazing guides. I learnt a lot from them and the energy was always positive even in tough moments. We were a group of girls who felt very looked after and had so much fun! I would definitely recommend to everyone looking to trek in Nepal!

Our porter, Dan, was equally amazing. His strength and resilience were inspiring, but what stood out even more was his kindness and positive attitude. He consistently went above and beyond, always with a smile, making sure we were comfortable and taken care of at every stage of the journey. Together, Buddhi and Dan created such a warm, supportive atmosphere that made the entire experience so special and memorable. Excellent experience through a collaboration between Plotpackers and Nepal High Trek. We visited for 15 days, with a night before the trek in Kathmandu and one night after. The admission fee was through Plotpackers, and might’ve been at a lower price through Nepal High Trek. We were a small intimate group of 5 trekkers which made for an ideal experience. Our guide, Buddhi, was incredibly knowledgeable of the Everest region and very helpful to us throughout the experience. The crowd size was less touristy than normal due to the conflict in the Middle East. The atmosphere was warm and open, there was no silly questions for our guide. Highly recommend the experience, how could it get better than the base of the top of the world?!
