We spent a full day in a private tour guided by Ronen Lev in September 2023. We went to Rosh Hanikra, Akko, Haifa, and Caesaria. Ronen was fantastic. As far as logistics went, he was very professional, and picked us up at our hotel on time and got us to all of our desired stops. He made helpful suggestions on our itinerary, and we avoided wasting time at places with little interest. He also listened to us about our goals for the tour, and what we were interested in doing. I found him to be very knowledgeable, both about the history of the areas we visited as well as the current culture in Israel. He helped us get some great group photos with border guards at the border with Lebanon. I highly recommend him.

We looked at all the organized bus tours and none of them focused on what WE wanted to do. Even though there were only 3 of us travelling as a family, we'd have to spend two days on bus tours getting up for a 6:30 AM pickup, travelling on a bus with no washroom, taking us to places we aren't interested in and spending too little time where we wanted to go. So, we booked a private tour with Ron instead. He picked us up at out Tel Aviv hotel, and took us to all the sights we wanted to see in Jerusalem. We were never rushed and we could spend as much time as we wanted at each sight. His knowledge of the areas and being known to the locals meant we didn't have any concern about changing our arrival time at Yad Vashem and he took care of all the costs for parking etc. There were no "hidden extras" and although our itinerary took longer than expected, he did not make anything of it. He made our first family trip to Israel so enjoyable and we do not regret the choice for a second. If this is your first time in Israel, splurge and book a private tour with Ron.

Probably the best, most friendly, relaxed and informative tour we've had the pleasure of. We're fortunate to have the opportunity to travel a lot and, when we're somewhere only briefly, I book a guide. All too often, one gets a dry history lesson from a bored guide. Ron, wasn't at all like that. Israel has history of course, but it's also a young vibrant country with lots going on. Ron brought the history to life illuminating the modern day challenges and bringing them into context. He also booked a superb lunch, finding a great restaurant with a wonderful wine list (not easy on the Shabbat - I couldn't get a reservation anywhere!). If you're visiting Jerusalem or even just flying into Tel Aviv for a weekend, book this guy; a first class guide and now, a friend in Israel. We'll definitely repeat the experience.

From the lead up to and during the actual tour Ron was second to none. He really did provide an end to ends fully inclusive experience and was able to customize the trip to our needs and timing so we would have an enjoyable day. We had great conversations during the trip with some great insight into the in and outs of Israel and even provided some after the tour help when we needed some advice. He’s not just a tour guide, he’s a new friend. I’d recommend Ron to anyone that comes to Israel in need of a guide.

Ron tailored our tour to our interests. Besides giving us a fabulous tour of Jerusalem, he has a knowledge of the people and situations past and current in Israel. We wanted to visit an Israeli Winery and he was able to arrange it and it was a fantastic experience, talking wine with the winemaker. Ron has a personality that is not only easy going but caring in providing for his clients the best possible experience in Israel. Do not hesitate to book this man. It will be the highlight of your trip.

Ron was our guide in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and took us on excursions outside the cities as well. There were three generations of us traveling together and he was sensitive to the needs of both the teenager and the senior citizen. He was incredibly knowledgeable about israeli history and politics, able to answer all of our questions. He was very prompt and courteous and very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend him - he knows all the ins and outs and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable.

Ron was always fine tuning our tour, adjusting the details so we had the best experience possible. He is a font of knowledge and a lovely person. Highly recommended.

Our time in Israel with Ron was by far our favorite time in an extended tour of many countries. We were three ladies in our 80's trying to see as much as was possible in the three days we had available. Ron took us under his wing and gave us the time of our lives. He manuevered the crazy traffic with ease all the while giving basic information and lively conversation about Israel and America. He got us very close to all the sites and was always so careful to help us with all the steps and uneven surfaces. In the "old city" he managed to procure a small golf cart so that we darted from one wonderful religious venue to another in minutes. We had wonderful experiences at the great local restaurants he found for us. We still talk about the great food we had. All in all we made a great friend for life in Israel. Thank You!
