Very informative tour! The driver knew the city and history of LA very well. Loved that she included information about where movies were filmed, who lived where that we would know from Hollywood, and famous places. She knew her way around and made sure we saw what was most important to the group. Highly recommend this tour and guide!
We had a fantastic time! Our tour guide Bing was so knowledgeable and she had a great personality. Highly recommend.
We have just spent an amazing day with grandma Bing. Funny, hugely knowledgeable and informative she never stopped her invaluable commentary from the moment we got on the bus till the second we were dropped off. If you have limited time in LA mature this is on your itinerary… and ask for grandma Bing - you won’t regret it.
Hi Darren, Thank you very much for this great review! We’re thrilled you had such an amazing day with “Grandma Bing.” Her knowledge, humor and nonstop commentary are all part of the experience, and she truly loves sharing Los Angeles with our guests. That’s something we’ve appreciated more and more over nearly 40 years of doing this—meeting people from all different walks of life and from all over the world is what continues to make our job so enjoyable. We’re so glad Bing was able to keep you entertained and informed from the moment you got on the bus until the moment you were dropped off. Thank you again for spending the day with us and for recommending Bing so highly. Happy travels to you, Darren, and thanks again from all of us at Guideline Tours!
When we were planning our sightseeing in LA, we were trying to decide between this tour and the Hop-On Hop-Off bus. I’m so happy we chose the Grand City Tour of Los Angeles, Hollywood & Beverly Hills! Having the comfort of air conditioning and water provided made such a difference, especially on a hot LA day. Our guide, Bing, was friendly, knowledgeable and fantastic throughout the entire tour. She quickly picked up on our interests and, knowing we were travelling with two older teens, made recommendations that really suited our family. The entire tour was filled with sightseeing, interesting history, celebrity stories and so much information about Los Angeles. It was a great way to see so much of LA in one day without having to worry about driving, parking or figuring out where to go next. We all really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this tour!
Hello Tracy, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review! As we approach our 39th year showing visitors around Los Angeles, you really hit on what we’ve always tried to provide—a more personal and comfortable way to experience this enormous city. Our small groups, fully enclosed and air-conditioned vehicles, and live narration throughout the nearly 40-mile route allow our guests to relax, see the sights comfortably, and really connect with a local guide along the way. It’s a very different experience from an open-roof or traditional hop-on hop-off bus, especially on a hot Los Angeles day! We’re so glad Bing was able to get to know your family and tailor some of her recommendations to your teenagers’ interests. After all these years, we still love sharing the history, culture, stories, and personality of Los Angeles with guests like you. Thank you again, Tracy, and we wish you and your family many more happy travels!
We had such an amazing experience with Paul on our West Hollywood and Beverly Hills tour! Our original tour ended up being cancelled by the other party, so we unexpectedly got a private tour with Paul, which made the experience even more special. Paul was absolutely lovely from start to finish — so friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the area. He took us to so many amazing places around West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and beyond, and made sure we got to see everything we wanted to see. He was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make the day memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would 100% recommend booking with Paul. If you’re looking for someone who is friendly, knowledgeable and makes you feel completely comfortable, he’s your guy! Thank you, Paul, for such a fantastic day! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great driving/walking tour of the highlights of LA. You get to see a bit of everything and then you know where you want to dive deep. Our tour guide has lived here for 45 years and knew all the history and inside dirt on some of the sights. She made the tour so much fun.
