Ifraim was extremely polite but that does not make up for his inadequate language skills. Neither we nor the couple in the far rear seats understood much of what he said. After re-reading the tour description, our guide complied with the minimal version of the tour. We drove by the outside edge of the Public Garden, drove around the Citadel, for example. Never stopped. However, we drove forty minutes, maybe an hour, to Peggy’s Cove and stopped to explore. But in reality there is not much to explore there, one large rock formation and a gift shop. This tour was a waste of time and our money.

What I booked and what I received were two different things. I was hoping a private tour would allow my husband and I to see more of the Halifax area. Our guide was really only interested in showing us various parks and lakes around Halifax and we did not, other than Peggy‘s Cove see any of the highlights. He also drove four of us in a small minivan and when he talked, he was not only difficult to understand due to his accent, but we couldn’t hear him because he was looking forward and driving without a microphone. It was not a very successful day and we felt that we did not get our moneys worth.

Fun day with Richard aboard a comfy mini van. He supplied water and we had ac. Went to Peggy's Cove and walked about, very pretty area. Saw the Titanic graveyard and all the stones of victims brought here after the disaster. Very moving and well kept memorials. Rode along the coastline passing beautiful fishing coves. Had lunch in a lovely local restaurant ( not included in excursion) it was very good. 'The Finer Diner'. excellent home made fare.
