The zip lining was incredible! The hanging bridges were beautiful! The entire experience was so amazing, I highly recommend this experience. The grounds were extremely well kept and the staff were phenomenal. We had lunch at the restaurant, which was fresh, hot and delicious. 5-stars all around!

Amazing Day in Monteverde Cloudforest
What an incredible day in the Monteverde cloud forest! Our guide Kevin and our driver Christian were the best! They picked our family up at our villa in Tamarindo at 5:30am and took us into the mountains to zipline, see sloths and hike through the forest and hanging bridges. The ziplines were exciting and the cloudforest was beautiful! I would highly recommend this full day trip with Native’s Way to see and experience a different part of the country. Be sure to ask for Kevin and Christian!

Unforgettable Cloud Forest Adventure with Native’s Way ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had an absolutely fabulous experience with Native’s Way on our trip to the Monteverde Cloud Forest, and a huge part of that was our guide, Kevin, and our driver, Aladberto.
The three-hour drive to Monteverde could have felt like a long haul, but Kevin and Aladberto made it part of the experience. Both were incredibly talkative and happy to share stories about themselves, their hometown, and the places we were passing along the way. It gave us a really nice glimpse into Costa Rican life and culture, and honestly, the drive seemed to fly by. Aladberto was also an excellent driver, and we felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time.
Once we arrived, Kevin knew exactly what he was doing. Having him there to help us navigate the park and get through the process quickly was fantastic. He knew where to go and what to do to get us started with the ziplining, which meant we could spend less time figuring things out and more time enjoying the adventure.
And what an adventure it was! Soaring several hundred feet above the cloud forest was absolutely unforgettable. There is something pretty incredible about flying through the canopy with the forest stretching out around you.
After ziplining, we met back up with Kevin for our guided walk through the hanging bridges. Just like the ziplining, it gave us a completely different perspective of the cloud forest, this time right up in the canopy. Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and was happy to spend as much time as we wanted stopping, looking, and taking it all in. It never felt rushed.
After the tours, we enjoyed a fabulous traditional Costa Rican lunch in Monteverde at Bon Appétit. And a special shout-out to them for the wood-fired Margherita pizza we sampled. Wow. 🍕 That was an unexpected highlight!
The drive back was much quieter, which was perfect after a full day of adventure. We were able to sit back, relax, and rest while Aladberto handled the drive.
From start to finish, this was a fantastic day. Kevin and Aladberto were wonderful representatives of Native’s Way, and their knowledge, personalities, and professionalism really helped make the experience special. We would absolutely recommend Native’s Way to anyone looking to experience the Monteverde Cloud Forest.

Don't use trip advisor to book
The ziplining and hanging bridge experience was great, but can't recommend booking through trip advisor! First and last time I'll do that. They told us to arrive at 9am for a 9:30 tour come to find out the tours are at 8:30 and 11. Luckily we got there just before 9 and was able to get in the 8:30 group. Also the description of the experience mentions a superman zipline, but that's an additional charge.

Don’t book with Viator
Book directly with Selvatura park. Viator doesn’t do anything other than come pick you up and tell you to check in with reception. Had I known this I would have booked directly with the park saving about $40-50. Everything is self paced at the park, aside from ziplining which is guided. Highly recommend the park, just DONT BOOK WITH VIATOR.

An Experience not to be missed
I can see why this is a must do excursion for Monte Verde. Well organized and great team of staff who accompany you through the zip lines. Lovely views of the cloud forest while zipping along. Tarzan swing was a huge hit for the brave people in our group. If Tarzan swing was too tame for you, you can pay for the Superman position on the last zipline.
The Hanging Bridges were opportunity to see the cloud forest from a closer distance. Even saw a howler monkey on one of the bridges. We think he enjoyed being the center of attention.
It’s an experience that we would all do again.

Amazing experience
This experience was amazing. Breath taking scenery walking through the jungle literally feels like you are where heaven and earth meet. Kevin our guide was amazing full of knowledge; he was excellent

Excellent ziplining excursion
Excellent ziplining! There's a lot of walking, sometimes uphills, between some of the ziplines. I should have worked out before participating. There were people of all ages doing all the activities.

My tour got canceled the...
My tour got canceled the day before and my two options were either pay extra money for the tour to go on or pick another date so I wouldn’t recommend I contacted Viator for a full refund and it was easy
