Be careful if do booking with sea experience company as will leave you have way
We 4 friends paid 45€ each we were picked up from figueretes area then went to bossa area pickup more people. No issues from going out. However, on return boat called KON TIKI SEGUNDO. The staff told of this boat said to us that first they go to Bossa then to Figueretes.
When we reached Bossa said it's last stop. I asked them but we need to go to Figueretes.
The captain said walk.
We have to walk 30min in hot weather.
So who ever do bookings with sea experience be careful because the sister company will bring you back and drop you half way.

Hello, we would like to explain that the ship Kon toki Segundo who collaborates with us, cannot access the dock of Figueretas, which is why it only disembarks in Platja d'en Bossa. POOR ORGANIZATION
First, the boat didn't leave from where they told us it would. We had to change the
boarding location. Then, to return, there was very poor organization for boarding. A disaster. We looked like a herd
of sheep, and a lady with a very bad temper was yelling at us to get in a line, saying that otherwise, she wouldn't pay attention to us. Come on. Very bad manners for the

Respecto al punto de embarque, en determinados momentos, debido a la marea y al nivel del mar, algunas embarcaciones no pueden acceder al muelle con total seguridad, por lo que es necesario realizar el embarque en otro punto. Lamentablemente, es una circunstancia que no depende de nosotros y siempre actuamos priorizando la seguridad de nuestros pasajeros.
En cuanto a la situación que describe durante el embarque de regreso y los malos modales de una miembro del personal, vamos a averiguar internamente qué ocurrió y lo pondremos en conocimiento del equipo para tomar las medidas oportunas y evitar que vuelva a suceder.

Dreadful and negative.
A total scam. Disappointing, they changed the meeting point and no one notified us. A complete deception. The phone number provided to call is inoperative, they only answer you via WhatsApp when they want to... not recommended at all.

En primer lugar sentimos tu decepción. Nos gustaría decirte que el día que el barco no puede entrar en el muelle de Figueretas enviamos un email con antelación y damos dos opciones: cambiar el punto de salida o mantener el mismo punto de salida que tenías inicialmente cambiado la hora de salida. Las llamadas y whatsaps se contestan prácticamente al momento dentro de nuestro horario comercial de 9h a 13h y de 16h a 20h.
Esperamos que al menos disfrutaras de un agradable día en Formentera.

Service not provided until the end. Dishonest. Avoid at all costs!!!
It had already gone badly in October 2025 because upon returning from Formentera in the evening, the boat did not want to drop us off at Figueretas and we were forced to get off the boat at the port of Ibiza town and therefore take a taxi at our own expense to return to our hotel in Figueretas, from where we had left in the morning and where we were normally supposed to be dropped off in the evening.
Same thing again here in June 2026, where the boat did not want to drop us off at Figueretas in the evening and forced us to be dropped off, this time, at Playa den Bossa.
It is therefore systematic as far as we are concerned that they do not keep their commitments and that they do everything to save time, fuel, and money at the expense of tourists whom they have no qualms about ripping off without embarrassment.
Furthermore, the price of the round-trip crossing displayed at the reception and in the elevators of our hotel is 42 EUR, and at the Sea Experience Ibiza office, without explanation, they ask you to pay 45 EUR for the crossing. When I show the price of 42 EUR, they answer that they do not know.
Avoid this company that does not respect its customers!
I returned to the Sea Experience Ibiza office to explain the situation and complain, and they do not care at all. I proposed a small compensation and it was refused.
In short, they are scammers who are intentionally dishonest and who do not deserve your money.
Finally, know that since 2026, Sea Experience Ibiza, the "Happy Formentera" boat, the "Ulises Cat", the "Sea Bus", and the "Aqua Bus" all belong to the same group.
In the morning, the boat that took us to Formentera was the Happy Formentera, and in the evening, it was the Sea Bus. Each one took 1 hour and 30 minutes to make the crossing.
If you are spending your vacation in Figueretas and do not wish to ruin a moment of your vacation, simply avoid this company and these boats!

No obstante, en ocasiones muy puntuales, las condiciones del mar hacen que atracar en el muelle de Figueretas no sea seguro. Cuando esto sucede, y por motivos exclusivamente de seguridad, nos vemos obligados a modificar el punto de desembarque hacia otro muelle cercano, como Ibiza o Playa d'en Bossa. Esta decisión nunca se toma para ahorrar combustible, tiempo o costes, sino únicamente para garantizar la seguridad de nuestros pasajeros y de la tripulación.
Respecto al precio del billete, lamentamos la confusión. Es posible que el cartel informativo de su hotel no estuviera actualizado o correspondiera a una promoción concreta. Revisaremos este punto con el establecimiento para evitar que vuelva a producirse cualquier malentendido.
También sentimos que la atención recibida en nuestras oficinas no haya estado a la altura de sus expectativas. En Sea Experience Ibiza escuchamos todas las reclamaciones de nuestros clientes y las utilizamos para seguir mejorando nuestro servicio.
Por último, respetamos que comparta su opinión, aunque no podemos compartir afirmaciones como que actuamos con intención de engañar a nuestros clientes. Llevamos muchos años trabajando para ofrecer un servicio profesional y seguro, y miles de pasajeros confían cada temporada en nosotros para disfrutar de su viaje entre Ibiza y Formentera.

Wonderful family day with Ibiza–Formentera Sea Experience
We booked our Ibiza–Formentera Sea Experience trip through TripAdvisor after reading great reviews, and we’re so glad we did! I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but we had an amazing day from start to finish.
The catamaran itself was a lovely experience — comfortable, clean, and well-organised. The crossing to Formentera was a bit rough and our children started to look a little pale, but the crew were absolutely brilliant, coming around with sick bags and checking everyone was okay (thankfully, we didn’t need them!). The return journey back to Ibiza was much smoother.
Once on Formentera, we had a fantastic time exploring. As we had young children and a buggy with us, we decided against hiring bikes and instead took a walk through the beautiful nature reserve, past the salt plains, and on to the beach. It was such a peaceful and scenic walk, and we finished the day with a short taxi ride back to the port.
Overall, it was a wonderful family day out and a memorable part of our Ibiza holiday. Highly recommend this trip — especially for anyone wanting to experience the stunning beauty of Formentera and enjoy a relaxing (and well-run) boat trip. Thank you to the crew for making it such a great day!

Smooth boat ride to Formentera from Ibiza Town
Booked this boat trip via Viator to Formentera for a Wednesday but sadly it got cancelled due to weather conditions. I was notified via email promptly no was able to re-book for the Friday. Everything went smoothly from collecting the ticket to departure and return. Please note that it is just a boat trip across to the island and back. I’ve used Viator many times to book excursions and will continue to do so. I like the fact that you get reward credits to use for further excursions.
