We had long layovers in Beijing during our vacation and decided to take advantage of them to explore the city by visiting the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and some other temples. Finding Benny's team has been a stroke of luck. Both the driver to and from the airport were extremely pleasant, making themselves understood to provide the best possible service and adding the finishing touch to our trip. Benny was so helpful! He collected us from the airport and supported us through two full day trips to the Great Wall/Summer Palace and Forbidden City/Temple of Heaven, The experience was great with check/ins before meeting to check we were ok with pickup times, dining suggestions near our hotel and even a thoughtful parting gift. Benny also helped us knowing the best photo opportunities at all of the sites we visited. Benny’s english is excellent and I’d strongly recommend as a guide for anyone visiting Beijing/ Great Wall. Benny was very helpful setting up our preferred itinerary, including arranging tickets for Tiananmen Square for the day on our own. Both he and our guide Haining were also very understanding when I tried to be helpful but sent them the chinese directiions to completely the wrong hotel, which delayed our first day by 90 minutes. Haining's English was excellent, a friendly guy, nice car and helpful arranging lunch etc on both days. His in depth knowledge brought all the places to life, answering all our questions, as well as fun snippets such as "that guy there probably doesn't realise he's dressed up as a eunuch". Having been with him for our first two days in China, we're now much more confident doing the rest on our own

We booked a car directly from PEK to Mutianyu as we landed early in the morning on our arrival in Beijing. The driver was waiting for us and navigated the trip for us with little hassle and it was a good call to go early as Mutianyu was very crowded when we left around 10.30am due to Qing Ming public holiday. The driver suggested a great restaurant for an early lunch including a local fish delicacy which we really enjoyed. We also booked a private day tour to the Forbidden City and Summer Palace with the same company a few days later. Our tour for the day, Alice, was knowledgeable and her English was good. She kept my two kids engaged through the day and answered all my husband’s more specific Chinese history questions! An overall enjoyable day out with Alice.

Benny was our guide in Beijing for two days. He helped plan our itinerary to minimize time in traffic and in lines. Without our guide, there was no way we could see everthing we wanted (mutianyu great walll, summer palace, forbidden city, temple of heaven) in only two days. I really appreciated that he even squeezed my last minute request of seeing a hutong into our last day. He also helped us secure tickets to all sights which saved me time and hassle.

I am very satisfied with the service. We used two full-day driver services during our long layovers in Beijing. On March 10th, during our several-hour layover, we visited the hutongs and the Forbidden City. On March 23rd, during another layover, we went to the Great Wall. We had two different drivers. The driver who took us to the Great Wall was good. He didn’t speak English, but we communicated through a translator, and everything went smoothly according to plan. However, the biggest praise goes to the first driver we had on March 10th. Saying he was just a driver is not enough — he was also an amazing guide. He spoke excellent English and shared a lot of interesting history about the places we visited. He walked us through the hutongs at a relaxed pace, which made the experience truly special. Later, at the Forbidden City, he waited for us and everything was perfectly organized. He definitely exceeded our expectations and deserves special recognition. The communication with the organizer was smooth and efficient, which is also a big plus. The price was very reasonable, and everything was exactly as agreed. I wholeheartedly recommend this company — especially the driver we had on March 10th.
