The boat is very tiny...maybe 8 people plus the crew. The water is so choppy and there are soooo many other boats out in the ocean. Do not eat a meal before this excursion.

We did not get picked up at all, so missed the experience all together!!! Very disappointing- never heard from the operator about what happened! Would not recommend as obviously unreliable.

At first communication was a little rough to reschedule, but once we went on the trip it was beyond amazing. We’ve been on a snorkeling excursion in Cabo, but this one was much cheaper and way more value. Seeing the turtles, the underwater statues, the sunken ship, and the under cenotes was an amazing experience. The only down side was the cold wind from the North. Unfortunately, that’s beyond their control. I would highly recommend this excursion for people in Cancun.

If you are interested in the statues, you will likely be disappointed. Only saw two under water statues. There is a lot of swimming involved which may be a deterrent for less skilled swimmers.

It’s a small boat w max 10 people. You should be a good swimmer, it’s a good exercise. You will see beautiful sea creatures, turtles, sea star, diff fishes, lobster, sting ray.. Daisy is a great tour guide and Mariposa( or something like that, i don’t remember het name) made beautiful picture even when the weather was not too good. Worth it!

We (5 adults) were so disappointed that the tour was cancelled at the last minute on a dubious excuse: “The port was closed.” No further explanation. I suspect that the operators did not fill the whole boat, so cancelled arbitrarily.

My partner and I enjoyed this snorkel tour! Chuy, Captain Lalo and Angel were a great crew - very informative and we felt safe throughout the whole trip. Angel took really nice pictures and videos we just had to buy the video package. Our tour started promptly after getting our small group of 9 people together and testing our equipment before leaving the dock. We then visited all 4 spots listed and it all took about 2ish hours. Throughout the tour Chuy checked that we were all together before moving on to the next spot. We spent a little more time in the turtle and reef section than any others. We then headed back to the dock and waited for our transportation. There are bathrooms and showers at the dock. Would highly recommend!

The staff was great, snorkeling was fantastic. Only issue was details of activity stated 4 hours we were only there for 2. Not sure if we were put on the incorrect tour, we ended up being taken privately which was fine, only issue again is we prepared for longer trip

This trip was run by Total Snorkel Cancun and the staff were incredible! Captain Emilio and guide Deisy were so knowledgeable and friendly. You should know the details of this trip, it is not a catamaran party boat it is a small boat just 8 people. It is a very personal experience and safe. You get a skilled guide who points out amazing marine life you may have missed. You are literally wet the whole time and go from one spot to the next in a few short minutes. I highly recommend wearing a swim shirt and swim shorts. They discourage applying sunscreen right before you leave the dock due the danger it causes the reef. Apply sunscreen before you leave your resort and wear clothing to cover your bum and back ladies!! There is a lot of swimming/snorkeling on this trip and when we went the seas were very rough and it was quite tiring. Some people were sea sick but the captain took them back to shore-he was very accomodating. You will visit 4 awesome spots but the best in my opinion was the eel grass beds where the sea turtles eat! Absolutely breathtaking to swim so close to a sea turtle. Our young photographer Manuel was incredible-he took the best photos of my daughter and I! I highly recommend purchasing your photos as the cost at the time we went was only $35 and you get all of them digitally! This was an exhausting but awesome experience!! My daughter was 16 and a strong swimmer-I would not take young kids on this trip with the rough seas.
