It was relaxing and the views were very nice of the city. Didn’t see any wild life but overall would do it again.
The tour was easy to find, just go over the bridge and turn left. It was a 10 min. ride to put in the kayaks. It was overcast, warm and relaxing. The jet ski circus behind the steam boat was interesting.
It was fun. River was rough as it was a windy day so it was a MAJOR workout!!
This was a perfect activity to cool off and relax! 3 mile float down river at your own pace! It took us about 1 1/2 hour. We saw an eagle, turtles, a crane and a baby raccoon! I would highly recommend it!
Beware… There is no guide to lead your tour, nor was there an offer to provide one. The waiver has you signing your life away and they take no responsibility for mistakes made by their employees. If you don’t sign the waver you don’t get to go and there’s no refund so you’re literally on your own. Good luck!
Hi there! It is unfortunate you chose to share a review for an experience you ultimately chose not to attend. However, we will take this opportunity to encourage any potential guests to be sure to read the activity descriptions before booking an activity to ensure it meets their requirements. As we discussed with you, this is indeed a self-guided tour, and that is detailed in the description. It is a very easy kayak route and a guide is not needed. We also showed you where it is detailed that guides could potentially be provided for an extra fee, though you did not seem interested in that option. As for your concerns about our waiver, it is an industry-standard waiver that we have used for our 11 seasons without incident. Safety is our top priority, and we certainly wouldn't have been successfully in business this long if it wasn't. Any suggestion otherwise is absurdity. We do not force anyone to sign the waiver, however we cannot host anyone who has not. You and your party had access to this waiver from the moment you booked the experience- over a week- however you did not choose to read it or bring up your concerns until the hour before your reservation, at which point our crew was assembled and ready to host you. Had your concerns been brought up in a timely manner, or were at all rooted in some error or lack of clarity on our part, we would have been happy to work with you on an alternate accommodation or a refund. Misunderstandings and mistakes happen, and while we do all we can to make sure they are a rarity, we are more than willing to take responsibility and make things right whenever we are even remotely in the wrong. This was not one of those cases and we met your disrespect for our time, policies, credibility, and reputation in kind.

Beautiful and easy kayak trip down the Cumberland River. Saw lots of turtles, birds (including one magnificent great blue heron). Very relaxing and easy trip, suitable for novice kayakers. About 90 minutes total time on the river if you take it slow.
This was my first time kayaing and it was truly beginner friendly. The staff was very kind and explained everything well so I felt very comfortable going into it. Me and my best friend had a really great time doing this and it was great to see the Nashville skyline in a different way.
The weather was beautiful for this experience. First time I’d ever been kayaking. I was nervous but the staff assured me I would be safe & enjoy it! They were right. Me & my wife both had a blast doing this. We plan to definitely do this again sometime in the future. We did this for our 7 year wedding anniversary & I’m glad we did it!!!
Kayaking was great. The view of the city was nice. The wRer was so calm and easy to paddle. Saw at least one turtle and a bunch of birds. There was a bit of a mishap at the end when we went to get one of our phones back from the van but the staff went above and beyond to help us. Would highly recommend and very thankful for the staff!
