I review this trip with mixed feelings. The trip can be booked starting from Kutaisi, which is what we have done. The ticket from Tripadvisor says that entry to Canyons and Caves is not included in the price, but according to the ticket, the caves cost 23 GEL, but here we had to pay 40 GEL per ticket. Something more expensive than promised, but in return it was a nice tour through the stalactite caves, a tour of 1 hour. Then lunch at a pre-selected restaurant, in the expensive end, considering that it was far from everything, so it was pure tourist prices. On to Martvili Canyons, here is the price according to. The price in the program is 17.25 GEL, but it cost us 130 GEL per person. We were told we could buy a combo ticket that included a zipline down (5 minutes), a boat tour in the canyon (15 minutes), and entry to the area. We would have liked to have been informed about the prices in advance, so we could have possibly opted out of the zipline and boat trip. It could have been done on the bus on the way there. From entrance to when we met, it was 60 minutes, expensive 60 minutes. Overall, we haven't seen or experienced anything today that we haven't seen or tried before. Our guide Ella tried her best to tell about Georgian history, she is sweet and friendly and will get good, but it was her first tour, so with experience she will be good. The tour operator should provide more information about the animal entrances, so there will probably be fewer registrations, but more satisfied customers. It was our 3rd. Tripadvisor tour in Tbilisi, and the previous 2 have informed and hit exactly regarding prices, and received super feedback.

Very friendly tour guide and comfortable bus (which we also used as a transfer from Kutaisi to Tbilisi). Only the entrance fees to the cave and canyon didn‘t match the tour description (they were both 40 lari admission + optional boat tour 30 lari).

Would not recommend this tour - very poor guide and you get scammed with the restaurant and entry tickets. In the ad you are informed that there is an extra fee for the cave, canyon and lunch but you don't know there is no applicable kids' discount (as for the locals) and that the total of the excursion would exceed what you have paid upfront with more than 100%. The sights are nice but nothing we haven't seen or experienced and is not worth the money. You are driven to a specific restaurant with no alternative choice. When we got back to Tbilisi there was a thunderstorm and I asked whether they could drop us close to our hotel, but this was rejected. My kids and I were not happy with this trip.

It was a great day and the tour guides were very friendly and you could ask whatever you wanted and they knew everything. The Prometheus Cave was impressive and the restaurant delicious.

This tour left us stranded in Kutaisi. We had a canyons tour with a transfer afterwards from Kutaisi to Tbilisi. The tour company reached out to us at 8pm the night before to notify us that the other group had cancelled and therefore they were canceling our trip even though we had received confirmation. They did not even give us a refund and instructed us that we needed to contact Viator. We told them the tour was not so much the concern as the transfer to Tbilisi from Kutaisi. They did not seem to care and we were left scrambling to figure out transportation at night instead of going out to dinner. This company is awful and will leave you stranded, avoid at all costs.

It was very fun, enjoyable, and memorable experience. Really enjoyed the caves, rivers and especially the waterfalls. We also able to get really close to waterfall and enjoyed playing with refreshing water 👍🫰

The tour guide was very friendly and guided us everywhere. Pickup and drop was on time. Boating was closed due to high water level but we got to explore waterfall and caves. I recommend the tour as it is well paced and well planned.

Martvili Canyon is an absolute gem. The scenery is breathtaking — lush canyon walls, rushing water, and a stunning waterfall cascading directly into the gorge that alone makes the visit worthwhile. We couldn't do the boat trip due to heavy rain and high water levels, but honestly it didn't matter — the views from the walkways more than made up for it. A huge thank you to our guide Anna, who made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommend! Pro tip: If you're flying drone, use the ticket center terrace or else stray dogs will tear down your drone.
