Provided lots of good knowledge. Plenty of time at all the places. I would have liked more time at North Shore. Time for both beach and shopping
Leonani- our tour guide and bus driver from the Pineapple Exp is the bomb. As a native Hawaiian, she so knowledgeable, giving us the history and stories alone the circle tour. Her ability to drive and simultaneously give such eloquent deliver is amazing. The small group tour is the way to go. Whichever group that ends up with her will be super lucky. We had a wonderful tour that highlighted the beauty of the island of O’ahu. The tour guide was the best. She told us great stories and her personality made us feel like she was family.

We are so happy to have booked this tour on the first full day of our trip! Even though it rained on us, the experience was amazing and our guide was incredibly informative, helpful, and fun. She showed us so many fun places we would never have otherwise seen and gave us excellent advice about the activities we had planned for the remainder of our trip. I can’t recommend this tour or our guide strongly enough. So thankful for this experience!!!
This is an all day experience filled with multiple opportunities to take beautiful and scenic pictures. Our guide Leonani was amazing! Not only did Leo provide stories and "must knows" about the island, but she also knew when to give us our space and time to enjoy with the family. She greated us with flowers at different stops, played our music requests, and was just the kindest. We greatly enjoyed out times snorkeling and at Dole. Our pictures are all amazing. I also appreciated the small group tour versus the giant tour buses we saw on the way.
Great full day tour of the island with beautiful lookouts! Our guide Ryan made the day wonderful with lots of great stories and lots of humour, and volunteered often to take some pictures of us. Thank you Ryan!

The tour itself was not small, but the bus certainly was. The seating was extremely cramped, making the experience uncomfortable from the start. It was also quite hot inside, and it was difficult to hear the driver’s commentary clearly throughout the tour. The presentation felt very scripted, and there was considerable effort spent encouraging participants to interact with one another, which felt forced rather than natural. Unfortunately, this detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, seating arrangements left us unable to easily communicate with those around us, which further limited engagement. Overall, the tour did not meet expectations due to the crowded conditions, lack of comfort, and communication challenges.
Aloha, We are concerned that this review may not accurately reflect our experience. Our tours are operated in small-group passenger vans with a maximum capacity of 13 guests (we can fit 15 but specifically put 13 for comfort reasons). The review describes both a crowded, cramped environment and an inability to communicate with nearby guests. These comments appear inconsistent with the layout and size of our vehicles, which are designed specifically for small-group touring. We welcome all feedback and continuously look for ways to improve. However, we also want future guests to have an accurate understanding of the experience we provide. Mahalo, The Pineapple EXP Team
P.E. was an amazing, with so much knowledge of the history of the area, she really made the trip special. Finding us the perfect local spots for food that was soooo oooonooooo (delicious). The Dole plantation was really cool, as well as the blowhole. She made some special stops for great photos. 100% would recommend, as well as go again.
