Hugo was an incredible guide and took great care of my wife and I as he escorted us around Sintra. He knew all the tricks and ways to get us to the front of every line and really squeeze as much as we could out of the experience. He's very knowledgable and was able to answer all of our questions along the way. He picked us right up at our agreed location and dropped us right back where we started with no fuss and made the whole thing seamless. He even snapped photos of us along the way. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants a highly bespoke experience that feels truly specialized and private.

It’s a DON’T MISS tour- ask for Felipe!
This tour was fantastic - even BETTER-than we expected! Felipe was 100% the best tour guide we’ve had! He was knowledgeable, super personable, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. He planned everything which had to be timed (tickets are given for a specific timed entry) just right and it was not at all rushed - no stress!! . The place we stopped for lunch was so pleasant and delicious, as was the pastry shop, Casa Piriquita, where we stopped for authentic Portuguese pastries. Yum! Felipe’s driving was professional in tight traffic, confirming how glad we were we didn’t try to drive ourselves! We will definitely book with Duca again on our next Portugal trip!

An incredible...

Wonderful Sintra Tour
The tour helped make it a stress free day to Sintra for my family of preteens to 70 year olds. Natacha was wonderful in making sure everything went smoothly and tailoring information and the day to our group. It helps when transportation from hotel back to hotel iland between attractions is taken care of. The tickets and schedule is taken of. I can't imagine experiencing Sintra otherwise.

Don't tour Sintra without Natacha
Five stars for Natacha! Incredibly knowledgeable about Sintra's history and so genuinely warm and welcoming. She rolled with whatever the day threw at us and kept everything relaxed and fun. If you're touring Pena, the Moorish Castle, and Regaleira, you want her as your guide.

Sintra with Marta
Our guide, Marta, is warm, welcoming and a great storyteller. She is fabulous for her vast knowledge of all the places she showed us but just as important, for her enthusiasm for discovery, sense of humor, and energy. And she deeply loves her country. Before you know it, you start to feel it, too. All 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed our day with her!

Thank you for the honest feedback. Sintra on a busy day is a real test of patience, and the queues at Pena are something we always try to work around with timing and sequencing. On this particular occasion, there were some internal works taking place inside the palace that caused unexpected delays — something outside anyone's control, but no less frustrating for it. We appreciate you flagging it, and hope the experience as a whole still gave you a real sense of what makes Sintra so special.

Perfect tour
We had a good time, our guide Marta was very helpful, knowledgeable, organized & very accommodating to our walking speed being “seniors” 👍She even brought us to Cabo de Roca even though it was not in our itinerary. Excellent job, highly recommended 👏👏👏
