Our guide was knowledgeable, kind, and clearly passionate about the region. We visited a couple of vineyards, had a peaceful boat ride on the Douro River, and ended the day with a lovely traditional meal. A 10/10 experience!

A beautiful day in the Duoro Valley
This is a long day but so worth the trip! Our driver and guide, Filipe, was second to none. The driving was excellent and safe despite rain most of the day. He was attentive to the need for breaks from driving. We thoroughly enjoyed the olive oil museum, the vineyard tour, and the boat ride.

Exceptional Tour Guide & Personalized Douro Valley Itinerary
Our tour guide Felipe and the trip plan he crafted truly was a one of a kind experience! He was very knowledgeable on Portugal’s history/geography and constantly had great conversation topics throughout a ~14 hour private tour. The tour plan he crafted around Douro Valley and the personalized experiences we had were really exceptional. I can’t recommend this company and tour guide enough if you are coming to Lisbon. It is 110% worth the adventure. The cost is well worth what’s included and the views are out of this world. This was definitely the highlight of my family’s trip to Lisbon and it wasn’t even in Lisbon! Thanks for everything Felipe!! (5/5)
